As a orca pilot i dont know how many times i had wanted to be able to dump a bay for something else to assist with either mining ops or simply moving base camps. cause we dont use that ship storage area very much and it would be nice to reconfigure it to use as another storage bay or when we are moving ships to be able to reconfigure orehold/cargo hold to hold more. i just think it would be cool if we could add a little diversity to the orcas role

'A little diversity'? The ship is a command ship, a hauler and a small rorqual in one, what more could you want? Diversity is the price you pay for not being specialized.

Indeed, if the orca would be a better hauler then the price of the Orca would go up above the current in game haulers because the Orca can do more then them.

If you want a ship that does it all it is bound to suck at everything. If you want a ship to excell, get a ship that can only do one thing.

Orca is absolutely perfect as it stands...one of the nicest ships in eve...Extremely verstile ship..I love it

If the ship maintenance array was a tad bigger it would be perfect. But yes, i love the ship, it and the rorqual are my favorites, i just wish i could bring it into high sec.

well, tbh the Orca is as close to specialized rigged ship hauling as you can get in high-sec (Sure, a freighter can hold twice the m3 of rigged ships, but you need a courier contract for that so I wouldn't exactly call it 'speciallized').
I also disagree it to be a small rorq, as Orca can't fit _the_ Rorq specialty, Industrial Core I :)
But other than that (and hauling rigged ships has its own threads both here and in the Assembly hall) I'd say the orca is fine as it is, it's very good at a lot of things. It's not the best at any of them alone, but it is the best at all of them together.
