In today's violent and strife-filled times there are many innocents without a Home, or a Family that cares for them. The crush of our broken economy has poor, innocent children out in our streets without food or shelter!
Do your part! Kill an evil Macro miner today! For each hulk killed the Hulkageddon Orphanage will provide room and board and secondary education for one poor orphan.
Don't let these poor children starve in the cold! :(
Almost 800 generous capsuleers have already donated, do your part...for the children
-A poor orphan matron
*cash donations to the hulkageddon orphanage are also accepted.

I am one of those poor lost orphans that Hulkageddon Jackpot took in from out of the cold. Since that time I have grown big and strong under her tutelage and care. With her help and the help of my fellow orphans, we have made the Hulkageddon Orphanage #5 in the rankings. Please donate to our orphanage so we can continue to do our good works.
100mil to my personal account wouldn't hurt either.

How can anyone show such callous disregard for poor little orphans? You make me sick!

How can you be so pitiless to these pour souls! We have taken in 815 of the poor things so far, but there are still thousand that live in boxes, exposed to the harsh elements of backwater mining worlds!
All because of evil-hearted selfish people like you! It breaks my heart to see such scandalous behaviour!

Of coarse it's an exploit, The gankers have zero to loose, no risk for 100% gain. Seems fair to me basically they are exploiting a broken mechanic to grief those who cant afford it the most, an also the least able to defend agaisnt it. This holy than tho bull**** about "we are only killing macros" because we care **** is the biggest load of toss ever to grace the EvE forums. lol
They do it for one reason an 1 reason only. Grief nothing els.
Lets see 1.They get full insurance back 2.They are free to pack roam in 1.0 to 0.5 with total impunity 3.They cant be hunted in turn because NPC corps cant X up 4.the so called "consequence" is a joke "- standing is nothing an so easily repaired its offensive.
This systme just enables the gankers an the younger ones to turn feral an ruin playtime for those who are more interested in the industrial side of the game (yes some ppl like to play non pvp games).
They pay their money each month an enjoy playing industrial game.
Same thing happened in Darkfall an UO an is happening in Mortal online, FFA gameplay when the inmates find a hole they exploit it to the point of total breakdown destroying the game for those who don't see it as "cool dudez!" to grief.

ahh am I ? so your the moral compass for Eve huh ? nice one, good job if you can get it aye. You know full well its griefing an exploit, your not gonna sit there an tell me all those points I outlined are correct an "as it should be" even if your 12 you would have enough nouse to understand that. I have done my share of griefing an I know full well you do it for no other reason than to upset people, it has nothing to do with macros. Your average griefer doesn't give a **** bout bots.

By that logic, speculation before a patch is an exploit. Low-risk, huge gains, and you never have to leave a station to do it. In addition, you "grief" those who get to the markets later than you because they can't get in on the action as the prices have already gone up.

The system is obviously bent in the gankers favor deliberately whether to force people into 0.0 or to just clear out highsec any way they can be it move or quit.... Either way greifers have free rain form now on.Until they really get feral an **** up the game then maybe CCP will deal with it. Irony is most of the griefers brag so hard bout how cool it is to **** defenseless people over an how fun it is to not take any risks, that when an if it does get fixed, they wuill be the ones screaming the loudest at how "unfair it is"

This is not Fair
(My ALT) Miner was Gunked today By 2 players. What can I do? I was at the Kbd but I don't have Active Tanking. I was lucky because Concord "was in time" to help me not get killed. Anyway, this is not FAIR !!!
This game says that you can be a miner, but now I see a campain against Miners!
It is very easy for a skilled pilot to Destroy any industrial or Exumer with a low-isk Cruiser, nothing to gain but a lot to lose for the Miner.
So, for the miners, skill for a Missile-Drake anh Hunt these players, cause if you do not return fire you will gain Kill-right. Fly safe!

Zill - are you that ignorant of the Petition process? I recommend that you petition any and every kill. Call it an exploit. I GUARANTEE you, you will *NOT* like CCP's response.
I'll give you a clue.
CCP will not class this as an exploit.
Originally by: Zill

Then petition it - WE all know what answer CCP will give you...

Greifing as defined by CCP: GRIEFING Last line is REALLY interesting to you:
Originally by: CCP the possibility for non-consensual PvP is an intended feature.
Originally by: Zill Lets see 1.They get full insurance back 2.They are free to pack roam in 1.0 to 0.5 with total impunity 3.They cant be hunted in turn because NPC corps cant X up 4.the so called "consequence" is a joke "- standing is nothing an so easily repaired its offensive.
#1 - True, insurance needs looked at. No one argues that. If you think removing insurance will *stop* suicide gankings (or even slow it down?) your deluding yourself.
#2 - Faction Navies aggress them whenever they enter the system. Hardly total impunity.
#3 - For those who weren't -10 yesterday, they ARE -10 TODAY, and AS SUCH can be attacked with IMPUNITY ANYWHERE IN HI-SEC. This mean you (YES YOU!) are FREE to fire on them ANYTIME - and fleet up, because being -10 means EVERYONE can shoot at you - so your points 2&3 are pure BS.
#4 - Standings suck ass to grind back up. Maybe you think its easy, I disagree.
Originally by: Zill This systme just enables the gankers an the younger ones to turn feral an ruin playtime for those who are more interested in the industrial side of the game (yes some ppl like to play non pvp games).

This is obviously a very tuff time for you in your life... Eve *IS* made, specifically for pvp. CCP however has done more to limit, contain, control, restrict and RESTRAIN pvp in the last 5 years than they have to EVER encourage it. In case you didn't know? The entire game used to be 0.0
Imagine that.
So CCP changed mechanics, brought in police, security, all kinds of things.
To the point where *you* and others want to feel secure all the time. Guess what?
Originally by: CCP the possibility for non-consensual PvP is an intended feature.

I doubt a cruiser could solo kill a hulk before concord shows up, you'd need 2 cruisers at a minimum for an untanked hulk. Throw on some buffer and resist mods, move it to a .7 system or higher, and the requirements to gank it go up pretty fast (as you should know seeing as your hulk wasn't actually killed).
An untanked hulk in a .9 - 1.0 system would require 3 BCs to take it down, and assuming a standard brutix fit, they'd all have to get within 2km without you noticing and warping out (not hard to notice and warp out since you are at the keyboard, right?). With some resists and buffer fitted (while maintaining full mining capabilities), the number quickly moves up to 4-5 BCs.
While you can't make a hulk (or just about anything else) suicide gank proof, you can defiantly make it a lot harder to gank. A hulk with 8k ehp sitting still while a fleet of catalysts creeps up to it is a lot easier to take down than a hulk with 17k ehp that stays aligned and warps away when anything capable of a suicide gank shows up in the belt and/or local.

I'we learn from this, increase my tank but I will not change the system because here is my Homebase (0.6)
About the running part, they where warp-disrupting me and I just waited 4 Concord arrival. In My System there are Guys with Destroyers and Cruisers just mining. I was also attacked last week by a Cruiser, I wrote here my opinion cause it's not the first time.
This kind of Kamikaze is easy to do but NOT FAIR. We are NOT all 18 years old here and member of a Gang. I'm talking about some respect !

P.s Keep whinging and i hope organisers do extend it... Nothing worse than whining children, which is the whole vib of this thread. Live learn, change... If you are getting ganked by this operation... "Your doing it wrong".
jks.
Seriously though, I own 3 Accounts that all have a well specÆed hulk char on each for easy ISK making..... I am not whining i actually grab a butt load of cruisers and had some fun pvp'ing.... in a PVP game... weird who would have thought that you can attack players in a PVP game...
Also @zill... You have been playing for 6 years and you still fail at understanding eve..... wow just wow!

I just want to say, as an orphan adopted by the Hulkageddon Orphanage, I am proud to say I have participated in the slayings of over half a dozen evil hulk-mining people. Some of them were afk. The ones who weren't tho, we got scrambled them and got 'em anyway!
For those who say the only reward is carebear tears that is simply not true. When hulks die they drop lots of nice, shiny loot and leave lot's of tech II mining drones lying around. I have made millions of isk in addition to many carebear tears!

I am confused and I'm not being sarcastic when I say that, but why do people spend ages learning to fly Hulks in order to go mining in a Hulk. I'm talking about these real players not the macro miners - I mean what do you do? You sit there watching a red beam hit an asteroid and then every few minutes, transfer the ore to a hauler and ship it to market. Then you make a load of ISK and repeat.
I just don't get it, I mean I mission say one day a week, make a load of ISK and then use it to fund my PvP char. But it sounds like you miners do nothing but mine 23/7, why? Believe me I have tried mining but I only got as far as an Osprey with T2 Mining Lasers and I was ready to commit suicide.

It doesn't take that long to learn to fly a Hulk. EveMon is your friend. My plan for a new character shows appx. 2 months - NO optimisation, NO implants, and not optimised just to get to a Hulk but optimised for a "Perfect Miner" with a few learning skills that actually slow me down getting just to the Hulk. WITH attribute optimisation and a set of +2 implants it's a lot closer to A month - and some of those skills you might already have if you fly anything bigger than a newbie Frigate or Destroyer.
Originally by: Major Trant I'm talking about these real players not the macro miners - I mean what do you do? You sit there watching a red beam hit an asteroid and then every few minutes, transfer the ore to a hauler and ship it to market. Then you make a load of ISK and repeat.
What do I do? I play something else on the next computer over - currently either Hearts of Iron III, Civ IV, or Europa Universalis III. Or I browse the Net. I eat. I get up to visit the restroom. Etc. My roomies are more inclined to play things like Counterstrike while they're mining, or do serious web browsing in the case of my girlfriend.
Mining is nice in that you can earn ISK while doing OTHER stuff you enjoy - usually.
Now, running a FLEET Mining op can be a lot like work - try running an Orca with 3-6 Hulks following you around feeding straight into your corp hold. THAT is not boring.....

I have 2 hulk alts and I use them like.......... 2-3 days a month
indeed its boring. Can be relaxing for a while, in example after an stressing day on job or whatever. But I know of guys that are like 12/7 and they are not macroing. They claim they do it for financing the PLEX
I killed my 1st Hulk today (wardec) and I felt like YEAH!!! pwnage, pay up 200m to recover losses now dude, I just ruined about a week of his poor life

Nah, half a week at most if they are mining 12/7 - even at current mineral prices, 5 million an hour is easy to manage in a well-set-up Hulk, 7-9 if you can get away with Jetcan mining, mabey 10 if you have an Orca helping - in Empire assuming you're mining Scordite, Veldspar, or Kernite.

I think the point he's trying to make is, what DO you actually DO with that isk? So far all you've told us is that you can make isk while doing other stuff or playing other games. But surely you don't pay $15bucks a month just so you can make some isk while doing other stuff?
The only possible reason, really, is to make isk to fund PVP or other stuff. But ultimately if you mine to pay for a plex, and don't even really play the game (apart from mining while doing other stuff like you keep telling us), then why bother playing in the first place? Wouldn't your efforts and concentration be better spent if you apply yourself 100% to whatever you were doing?
Disregard above if you DO mine just as an alternate activity in EVE, or as an isk making endevour to fund ships etc.

My company provides us to support Hulkaggedon completely. We do not support are the macroscopic farmer who the dog we does not approve likely did not know. In May their blood stream hotly in street. Is willing them no longer to pollute our holy conveyer belt!! Works for them in the Chinese restaurant, therefore perhaps they learn the persistent and hard-working work meaning!!
GLORY FOR CHINA!
