Hi.
I just got back to eve after 5 months and I found my corp to be kinda dead (7 people who have not logged on for months, the corp assets are still there tough.)
Now I want to join another corp but I do want to be able to rejoin this corp whenever I want to.
My plan was to join the corp with an alt and make him commander (I am currently commander not ceo)and whenever I want to join back ill just have my alt accept me in.
My questions:
1:Can a commander appoint another commander or can I make myself CEO via vote or something?
2:Can you join a corp with no offices (I would not like to open an office for just 1 alt joining)

A CEO Move can only be done via Voting...
Your best bet is to get you, and your alt (if not already) into your corp, get the commander (Director i guess you mean :D) to evict the other members, then use a vote (remember that if you want your alt to be able to vote, you need to give him/her shares, even 1 share will do) to move the CEO Position to a new pilot.

Not sure about the director being able to assign other directors, but you can have a corp with no offices since the HQ is created for free with no office.
Offices aren't necessary to join a corp now as you have an 'Apply to Join' button on the corp info window, which you can confirm for yourself ingame by opening any player corp's info.

If the 1000 default shares are still in the corporate wallet, and you are a director, you can assign the shares and call a vote for a new CEO.
If the old CEO has all the shares, then a petition might be possible in the case where the CEO has been inactive a long time.

Ok started the vote.
And voted for me with my alt.
I can make my alt ceo when I am voted ceo right?

It's obvious that your corp members aren't serious about this game, so why not clean out all the goodies and start over!

Once you're CEO, just right click on your own pic in a chat channel and select 'Resign as CEO', you will then be asked who to hand over the position too from corp members. Pick your alt and it's done.

I have been playing alongside most of these for 2 years but we just all got bored and quit or joined another corp about 4 months ago.
I got back and I am joining my old corpmates in another corp but i do want to keep someone in DSCF.
