Our station in PXF-RF in Fountain was reinforced for the first time /shield/ on 10.01.2010 in very early EVE time around 1am. iHub reinforced also at that time. Two and a half days later on 12.01.2010 at about 1,45am EVE time station was taken after exiting first reinforce mode and without going into second /armor/ reinforce mode. At the same time the iHub in the system was still invulnerable with a several hours more till exiting its second reinforce mode. As you can see in the attached pic, sov was lost 14 minutes after station was taken. Pic from ingame sov stats - http://dl.eve-files.com/media/1001/PXF.jpg At the same time our other station 2 jumps from PXF in V6-NY1 had correctly being taken into second /armor/ reinforce mode a few hours later after we lost the PXF station. Weirdly though this very morning it showed me a message that we have lost sov in V6-NY1 because our TCU was destroyed - still it is present in that very same system alive, as you can see in pic2. Pic from ingame msg for sov lost, while TCU still there and station still invulnerable in RF mode - http://dl.eve-files.com/media/1001/TCU.jpg Petition about PXF filed early on 12.01, bug report filed but still 24 hours later I have no response whatsoever. I'm now not expecting any response except blah-blah we're very sorry. Thanks CCP for your great and timely support. So watch out for your stations in this new Dominion expansion, that has been "extensively tested" and "bug free".

He did not whinge and pretend the station would not have been taken eventually, he just described a bug so that others know about it. The fact that sot would not have defended the station anyway is irrelevant to the fact there is a known bug in place, as admitted by CCP. If in a different set of circumstances, the owning alliance had wanted to defend the station, they now would not be able to because of the bug, not because they fail. Repping is not meant to be necessary.

How many SoT you see around PXF. 2-3 roaming gangs for last 10+ days. So you took our station kk. We builded 3 of them. Rest was here builded from BoB and BoB pets. What about 10+ station that IT (BoB) lost in Delve and etc. Did you forgot them. Weel of time is rounding BoB was here before us then we took it for 2+ years now they are back. So i ad SoT dont have problem with it. 40 days passed and even with few "presents" from us thay still didnt control and hold entire fountain. It completely clear that IT will take all of it, and here is where the fun starts. And the fun are exactly this 1200+ ships that they lost only from SoT. Fun is seeing IT flying T1 ships with T1 fitings, fun is IT member to type in local after loosing his rating drake: why there is reds here, isnt it our secure space. Only this sentance was enough for me and for us to stay and doing what we do best.

So i ad SoT dont have problem with it. 40 days passed and even with few "presents" from us thay still didnt control and hold entire fountain. It completely clear that IT will take all of it, and here is where the fun starts. And the fun are exactly this 1200+ ships that they lost only from SoT. Fun is seeing IT flying T1 ships with T1 fitings, fun is IT member to type in local after loosing his rating drake: why there is reds here, isnt it our secure space. Only this sentance was enough for me and for us to stay and doing what we do best. Still unreadable :s

I know the devil is in the details in terms of any system trying to widen the scope of players being exploited in ways that make the devoted even more invincible but The Dominion soveignity system with incentives to improve systems and hold less and drawn out requirements (multiple timers) to take a system seemed to offer some means for pvpers with more RL commitments to play the 0.0 game. (and do so with like minded people with similar life/game balances) IMO, This step away from the original Dominion soveignity mechanics greatly diminishes defensive capabilities for groups that ôhave a lifeö (in a family-man/woman sense) .

November/December SOT had the most kills of any alliance in the whole game and had several members in the top 10 individual killers. I averaged 200-250+ kills a month and still was usually outside the top 10-20 killers in the alliance. And this was while PL were giving away mirmirs to members who had 20 kills in the last month. Before blaming others, look at yourself. Fact is although most of IT suck at PvP, they had strong well organised leadership and huge keen and motivated membership which only needs to follow orders to take down poses and shoot stations. Neither PL not SOT could compete, despite their PvP ability.

Problem was IT numbers, since they could easily bring 2 or 3 times bigger fleets. SOT had some internal issues that actualy crushed us more than IT alone. It's like trying to argue against metal dude, fun but pointless. I am not going to air all the stupid sht that went on, but it would seem pretty obvious that the alliance losing corps and the station f*ck ups could be due to the issues ex-SOT members have already talked about... rather than the general membership's activity and number of kills. No one is trying to say SOT didn't fail. But you blaming SOT for all your problems, when you had enough of your own to lose Fountain all by yourself in the first place, is pathetic.
