That's like saying why socialize with women if you don't want to have sex all the time, why not just turn g@y? I suspect there's a lot of things you don't get.
Not quite what I meant, but good for you for coming up with something that witty

You need to get out of a station more if you want to see that stuff. I kill those things everyday. Not so much the assault cruiser, cause they are really expensive atm.
They aren't meant to be flown by very new characters. They are elite. If you haven't noticed this game takes some dedication and time.

Oh boy, another one...

This is the only thing even worth commenting on for me because I totally agree with many of the replies to your points.
For a casual "1-2 hours" a day player, there is nothing better than EVE. You will find that others in other level grinding games will leave you behind and then you will get very bored very fast after killing the 3,000th Ork just to level.
The EVE skill system is the best thing since sliced bread because it evens things up for the casual and the power player.
Any way, have fun doing what ever you will be doing in the future. -- Intergalactic Teeth Pullers "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." Albert Einstein |

I'll bite even though I know I shouldn't.
Perhaps I was a bit harsh, but what is the point of complaining about PvP in a game that prominently features it? If you don't like it enough to complain about it, I just don't see how you can be happy in Eve. At which point I suggest you leave. No hard feelings, just go find a game that you would have fun in.
Its simple fact that Eve is not the "safest" game to play. Corp wars, low sec space, free for all 0.0 space, etc. If you don't like those facts there is no reason to play the game, cause its going to nothing but **** you off
Its akin to me playing Doom 3. I hate that game, so why would I play it?
edit: bad grammar, missing words...
