Started in ro5 well under 1.6m SP, could not imagine a better start in EVE with these bunch of serieus or way less serieus people :)
If you like to build , mine or shoot the stuff you can build, worthy to check it out. Or, if you don't know yet what your into.. hell, we do it all so a good place to find out.
There a lot of us-timezone people, and the euro timezone players could use some serieus (ehm, or less serieus) reinforcements.

hmm...Well this does sound promising. I am sort of new to EvE...I have had my account for sometime, but have mainly played alone and actually haven't played so much...maybe not even a fraction of the 10 months since I got the game...recent events have allowed me the time I needed to really get into, what many of my friends call "that hard game". My interest in this game does has not diminished and so...I'm looking to join a corp that actually talks to each other for starters...I just joined one out of curiosity and...not too social I'd say....space is a lonely place and it /would/ be nice if I could at the very least make some friends out in New Eden. so with that said, I will hop into JUNTA this very afternoon and....say Hi!

This sounds really interesting ive been looking for a group or rather community like this but I've never PVPed before and don't have an fing clue what I'd need to do :(
2mil SP character, half indy and half combat based atm so I'm at a bit of a cross roads as to what to do next, if this sounds agreeable I'd welcome the chance to speak to someone?

That's pretty much how all of us got started. Ro5 is a good place to explore what you like to do in the game. There's quite a few newer players that do missions, wh etc. and there's the occasional war dec as well. You should be able to get good advice from older players.

Ro5 Is a good corp if you are ...
a) new to game b) casual player c) Mission runner d) Miner
I would reccomend it if you are new to the game and want to play with a very friendly bunch of guys on all timezones and want good, organised training.
What Ro5 doesnt do well.
Pirate - they just dont do it. PvP (although being part of a MASSIVE blob of frigates does provide lols) Allow for free spirited independant members (they kicked me for disagreeing with some policies / saying AE Rivven is making a fortune from all the newbs mission running with a rather high tax rate)
overall this is a solid well organised corp.
Their sister corp The 5th Freedom is a well organised 0.0 Corp so if you want to go to 0.0 eventually Ro5 is a good starting place.
However if you wanna Pirate just come join my corp instead. HERE ^^ Sorry for blatant Hijack there

I joined Rule of Five in 2008 and I have never regretted it. There are always people willing to help. A lot of people take a "Pay it Forward" approach which means when they help you, all that they ask is that if you are able to help out another corporation member in the future do so. Helping out fellow corp members is contagious
Things I've seen from Ro5 that I have been impressed with:
Leading by example.
Solid nurturing future FC's , POS managers, Recruiters, PVP instructors etc...
Seamless transition from Ro5(Empire) to 5th Freedom(0.0 PVP) and vice versa should you want.
Open Door policy.
Real life always takes precedence.
Long term decisions are discussed by everyone and when a decision is made, the corporation goes full bore.
Genuine concern for its members both in-game and out.
I'm sure there are alot of other things I've missed, but needles to say I consider Ro5 my home in EVE.

I'm with the blob!
This corp is setting the right focus:
- Real Life comes first. - EVE is a game - a serious one sometimes, but still a game where you should have fun.
You won't find a better corp. Many (!) active members in Euro and US TZ - you are not alone!
Join the blob... now

Just my 2 cents.
I've been a member for 2 weeks now - I am a newb and proud and the help I have had from the guys both in game and on vent has been nothing short of amazing.
Theres been times I have been almost embarrassed to ask questions and they keep firing the help back, often times they stop what they are doing to make sure that the info is correct. Theres no back biting , no politics and no stress - if you dont want to do something they never force you.
The classes the corp run are second to none, they actively encourage newbs anmdd experienced players alike to get together for training and roams, mission sharing and fleet ops are always in fleetfinder - never a shortage of people to speak to or fly with.
And as for the sister corp (5th) - well those guys are just the nuts! They are always also willing to share info and help and often provide an interesting insight into life in Eve on the other side of the 0.0 fence, you can pick up so much information just by listening to the vent chatter on fleet missions.
Get to Junta channel and join up.

I will attest to the effectiveness of the training and corporate culture of Ro5 from a slightly different perspective:
I joined the 0.0 sister corp, 5th Freedom, about 6 months ago; and I did not come from Ro5. (there are times I wish I had)
Since then, I've witnessed first-hand the transfer of quite a few members from Ro5 to 0.0; and I can tell you that they came out well prepared and with a great attitude, a pleasure to fly with.
No matter what your focus is within the framework of the corp, you will find great people and a vast pool of experience.
Cheers, Reliq

I tried EVE twice. The first time I joined a corp, wasn't overly impressed by the game mechanics, the missions, anything really, so stopped playing.
A year or two later I gave it another try, joined a different corp (which was Ro5), and as soon as I started playing could see that the game mechanics/missions etc hadn't changed at all.
But this time, the GAME had. I never realised til Ro5 just how much in EVE, the game is made your your corp. Its not other MMOs were you can have fun by pretty much soloing your way through life, occassionaly and rarely working with someone else.
Rule of Five made this game for me - I honestly cannot recomend them enough. I've since moved on to the PVP wing of the corp, but I even had to start a second account to keep my Rle of Five side open :)

A big +1 to Rule of Five
I was in Rule of Five and since have moved on to their null sec sister corp, 5th freedom.
Great group of guys who possess a wealth of Eve knowledge, and are just great fun to fly with.
Recommend this corp to mature players who lead real lives and want their Eve time to be productive, no drama, and FUN.
