Hey folks.
Started a corp with my main. Want to hand it over to my alt, to take benefit of double training speed and optimized attributes for corp skills. Alt has all 1000 shares...
Started vote to run for ceo on alt (yes, corpmates are all good with this, by the way) and voted, with alt, for the change...corpmates apparently cant vote, as the alt holds all 1000 shares...24 hour timer expires, aaand my main is still CEO. Says 0% voted for, 0% against. Aggravating to say the least.
So, what did i mess up, and how do we do it differently? Thanks. |

As I understand it, you now need to go to Corp -> Politics -> Sanctionable Actions -> Not In Effect, where you'll find the vote. You can then Act on the vote, putting it into effect and turning your alt into CEO.

Probably that.
Note that it isn't needed to change CEO via a vote if the CEO agrees to step down. At any time the CEO can right-click his name his chat and choosing 'resign as CEO'. At that point he can appoint another corp member as CEO.
If you do it that way the CEO change is made instantly and without a vote.

This is not always the case, if there is no suitable character with corp management it will allow anyone to become CEO who doesn't have the skill. I have done it plenty of times with my alts.

right click your current ceo and choose resign. It will give you options to who you can choose as ceo. You mentioned you have corp members make sure you have the skill that allows you to have mixed race members. (can't remember the name of the skill)

You don't need that if you don't update the corp. Only then do the current CEO's skills apply.
