Hi thats my thoughts about getting mor people to the 0.0
Most miners/prodders will not go to the 0.0 because the risk/reward is off balance even after dominion. The only thing that happend after dominion is, that most allies start to gank in low und high sec to get/make money.
My thougt is how about tweak the Rorqual so this ship can create a mobile Forcefield like a POS. Obviously not that strong as a POS and with some draw backs for the sake of balance. My thought is that the Rorqual can not move after created the FF.
To give allies the possiblity to defend there sov-teretories there could be also a device that prevent a mobile FF within the system.
This idea is right at a start and need some thoughts to make it balanced enough but with a possibility to defend themself i think more players would risk to start mining in the 0.0 and after getting a glimps what the 0.0 is start to think about moving to the 0.0
I think this idea will bring more people to the 0.0 than every addon before.

Great idea.Have a module to push.It runs like a cyno.Then the fuel runs out and shield drops.Best idea i ever heard.

I think every ship should have a tiny forcefield around them that could deflect damage or something until it pops.
Obviously not as strong as a POS, but maybe just a little stronger than armour.
Maybe they should put it somewhere in the HUD so you can see incoming damage - you could even have mods that altered how strong it was, the resistance, or even how fast it recharges!
Good idea; implement immediately.

try sitting in a hulk and applying those res mods and see how long you last agains a attack from anything bigger than a frig. answer is not frikken long.
having the abillity to generate a short term cant touch my hulks field with the rorqual the biggest minign ship there is makes sence.
I really find it funny how all the pirate complain that the care bears never leave high sec. Could the posibility be that on the other side of the gate there are fleets of ships is waiting to blow them up for no reasion other than to kill them..............

I for one would love the rorqual to have this ability. It would allow us to bring mobile 'cover' to sov bashes. while our caps hug the mini shield.
Heck we can even use it to cyno a rorq to an enemy rorq and harass the miners. and they can't do anything to us while we're in the rorqual (while us having the ability/dps to take down their rorqual).
It'd be a huge boost for miner griefing, lets do it!
/Honestly just gather a damned defense fleet, it'll be better than CCP giving miners an easy-mode that prolly won't live up to their expectations.

You could always try paying attention while mining in low/null sec.
But no, you want an easy button.
