I don't know how anyone could be classed as best pirate as everyone has their own idea of what makes a great pirate. Is it down to who get's the most tears, most kills or most profit from their piracy?
Personally I'd have to say Garmon / El'Tar, but that's down to the fact he tops battleclinic killboard, he is probably the biggest inspiration to the majority of pirates that have came onto the scene over the last year or two and I would think his profit from what he does has been pretty neat. But as El'Tar has already stated he isn't what a number of people would consider a pirate anyways so I dunno, all down to personal opinion.

In my opinion you aren't a pirate then. While there is no definitive definition of pirate, I would say that someone who isn't PVPing for profit isn't a pirate, but just a PVPer.

Well...
Ginger Magician was a gatecamper who just popped shuttles and noobships...made himself famous by posting here rather than it being his skill etc.
As for pirates I have come across in my Eve..been a fair few good ones..not that I personally define piracy as good..(Being a long time anti-pirate and NRDS practitioner)
But..my vote goes to Sard Caid...always a gent in local..no smack..brings the fight and is pretty good at what he does!
