I was doing some exploration, looking for a wormhole but came across a Profiteer Nebula. Specifically a "Golden Cytoserocin". The description told me it had to do with the research and prodution of Booster technology. Does anyone know what I need to do with this thing? It's a cloud but I cannot target it. What am I missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers everyone and fly safe!

I believe this has to do with harvesting gas clouds. Does anyone know how to harvest a gas cloud. Whats involved?

to be able to target it go into overview settings and add gas clouds to overview. To harvest them train gas harvesting and equip a gas harvester to a ship.

Golden cytoserocin is used in the production of Standard Crash Boosters. As boosters are a rather small market, if you harvest it and manage to move it to Jita, it will take some time to sell. Not sure what prices are at but if you don't have gas harvesting trained to level 5 and have 5 Tech 2 gas harvesters, its probably not worth your time. _____________________________________________

Gas cloud harvesting skillbook, sold in pirate stations but traders resell them in empire for around 30 million isk.
You can fit one gas cloud harvester for each level of the gas cloud harvesting skill (so up to 5). Each takes a turret spot. At level 5 you can switch to gas cloud harvester ii's which are significantly better. Fitting requirements are high enough that you'll probably want at least a battlecruiser to fit them on.
Generally any gas cloud that appears in high sec gives you less isk/hour from mining than semi-afk asteroid mining scordite would. But check the markets to be sure.
