Jock Landers here...your Eve moral compass. Serving the Eve community since 2010.
I strongly recommend you keep all of your assetts as it's likely you'll eventually return to the game. As CCP expands on the Eve universe I'm sure there are more things to come that might grab your fancy, you may be enticed to come back. How nice would it be to reactivate your account and have all your goodies in place to start up once again.
If you are serious about your departure and not coming back, I'd recommend that you donate your items to your current corp members and not strangers on the forums. Surely in your career as an Eve pod pilot you've made some good friends along the way.

But, if you leave now, you'll never get to see Walking In Stations... I mean, c'mon??

Originally by: Compleat Bacon I'm guessing you are going through the standard life changes.
Gaming as a child: Serious learning involved. Games are one of the ways kids learn.
Gaming as a teenager: More learning involved, complexity of interactions grows.
Gaming as a late teenager, early 20s: Hmm, why am I playing? I have serious life things I can do now.
Gaming later in life: Hobby. Occupies time, provides entertainment other than the 9-5 job, keeps you out of the wife's hair, etc.
Notice that there is a transition that occurs. Gaming as learning, you are looking for new experiences. New things to learn. And once you suck all the experience/learning out of something, on to the next thing.
Gaming later in life, hmm. You are not learning. Not looking for new experiences (continually). Your goals are quite different.
I have to assume by your opening comments that you are not in the last category. Realize that you will transition into it, and may be partly there now. Thus why you want to leave, but you want to stay.
what the **** does this horrible post have to do with anything
