maybe its still too long, but would pref to know the error rather than 500, 500 is very general and basic just means error on server end and is like set to not give out error try find your logs for apache or Whatever you use

Edited by: John McCreedy on 06/07/2011 12:55:19 Cron doesn't seem to be working. Changing titles or roles with members aren't being reflected with members access changing. Also, some members are registering and getting access fine while others aren't. Director group should have global moderator roles but they aren't applied meaning I have to manually apply them.
What could I be doing wrong, please?
Edit: This is the error I'm getting:

Is there a way to have the mod remove access on TS when an account goes inactive?
Like have it poll the forums and check each account and see what userid it is tied to on TS, and then have it add the groups accordingly on TS?
Or better yet, if you could make a mod to integrate LDAP with SMF, then that would be great as well. You could run LDAP and have it do the authentication for the forums, TS, Jabber, mumble, etc..

I have TEA running on SMF 2.0 RC5 with TS3. Its a piece of cake, you juyst put in the info it asks for and you should be good ot go. You will need the admin server query pw, and the port for admin server query (default is 10011). However, I have not been able to get the mod to remove people's access on the TS3 server when their access changes on the forums..
I've been trying to get some help with that one, but it seems no one is home |

Server Port what does it mean in TEA TS settings? |

Server port will be what ever port you connect to TS with, the default port is 9987, the query port default is 10011.
Also, just started playing with the TS side of TEA, and its VERY powerfull. Took a bit of playing to get use to how it all works, but as with anything to do with TS, the hardest part is getting all the permissions set up right on the server, not the things you hook up to it :).

So I have all of the groups checked to be monitored and removed, and just turned the uniqueID verification method back on thinking that perhaps that has to be on for it to use the SQL db and check the permissions with the permissions on smf. Well that's not the case. I had about 5 members leave their corps or have their accounts go inactive. So I have a rule on the forums that if the API isn't in my alliance, or isn't active, put it in the not verified group. Then, I have a rule for the ts side that should take anyone from the not verified group on smf, and put them into a bot verified group on ts. However, it does not do this. I have run a full check a few times now, but am Not getting any luck.
Any ideas?

Thanks to Temar for a great mod.
Just one question, is there anyway to enable permission so that other user groups (we have I-SEC, corp internal security) can view the API of users registered on the forums? Ive been trying all I can see, but nothing works. Only those with full admin rights seem to have the option at the moment.
Thanks! |

so is it not changing the group under ts or both smf & ts also ts doesnt have a full check link, its only run using the cron files, adding links is on my todo list

Ive been trying all I can see, but nothing works, except giving the user full administration rights. I do see there are 2 permissions for this when viewing a users General Permissions; "Edit Eve Api Any API" and "View Eve Api Any API" but they are both struck out, regardless of what options I set. And I am unable to find anywhere to assign these 2 permissions when editing usergroups etc. It would be awesome if this could work.
Thanks!

I am not sure if it is doing the api checking on SMF, but i know it is not on TS.
I have a rule so that anyone that is in a Not Verified group on SMF should be added to the same Not Verified group in TS. However, there are people in the Not Verified group on SMF, but they are not being added to the group on TS.

I also have this issue.
Also on r132 if I enter any info on the TS admin page I get a white screen when I save it. the only way to get back to the page is to delete the values for all the tea_ts variables manuaaly from the DB.

I am having a hard time getting TS integration working.
Everything forum related is working perfect. TS3 is working on a MySQL database. I'm attempting to use the TS Unique ID and believe I have everything configured properly.
Groups to monitor show, and I check the appropriate group.
Address of Host = $IP Server Query Port = 10011 Server Port = 9987 Query Username = $username Query Password = $password Name Format = #name#
This part must be working properly, because it correctly fetches TS Groups.
TS Database host = $IP TS Database username = $username TS Database password = $password TS Database and table = teamspeak.clients Server Database ID = 1 Allow TS UniqueID Method = Checked
all users fall under database id of 1. Database name is teamspeak.
The Rule
ID = 4 SMF Group = The same group we are monitoring above TS Group = The permissions we wish to apply. Name Format = Tried both null and #name#
When I visit a user profile, and enter the teamspeak tab, select a main char and past the TS unique id. I assume I'm suppose to click change profile as thats the only button.
I always get the following error:
[ERROR] Unable to Match any Groups Not Registered on TS
Any ideas?
