Thanks.

Would you like skills instead? Or read haladans mining guide, that explains everything you need to know about mining.

There aren't any certificates for specifically increasing yield, though there are harvesting, refining, and starter profession ones.
Skills that directly increase yeild: * Mining * Astrogeology
Skills that indirectly increase yield: * Mining Upgrades allows you to fit better/more mining upgrades * Ship skill yield bonus, for example: Hulk gets 3% bonus per level of Exhumers skill, and a 15% from Mining Barge 5 (prerequisite). * Cybernetics allows fitting of mining implants * Mining Drones + Drone Interfacing for improving mining drones * Ore skill level 3 allows use of T1 mining crystals, and level 4 allows use of T2 mining crystals. * Refining + Refinery Efficiency + ore skills affect refining yeild
Halada's Guide should be comitted to memory if you are a serious miner. It is THE mining bible.

IMO you should ignore the mining and refining certificates and purely go after individual skills. There are major screw-ups in those certs. I'm away from my eve (and eve-mon) machine at the moment but I seem to remember a cert where two levels are reversed and another where high-level ore processing skills are required for a low certification level.
