Since this is the feedback thread, here's some positive feedback:
Like the new jukebox. Seems to play fine on my custom playlists, but the game soundtrack still plays only one song before going silent. Not a big deal to me, though.
Patch installation was a piece of cake. I wasn't part of the initial rush because I was at the doctor this morning when the patch was released, but the auto-patcher worked like it was supposed to. Only took a few minutes to update and I was back online.
Overall, I've barely noticed any big differences at all as far as gameplay goes. This is a good thing. I can always resave lost fittings, and since that's the biggest downside to this patch that I've noticed, I'd say job well done, CCP

the new voice font change is... good but creepy...
I set my voice for male to female change just to see how good it was and had a moment where I wished that I knew a girl who sounded like that.... like I said creepy.

What about informing us before a major change like that? I just upgraded my Office PC, if I knew about this I would upgrade my home pc. Now I have to play a DX7 game for the next few months. Sorry CCP but I have to totally agree.
I don't think I am alone on this feeling but Medium Shader was a nice in-between pretty & FPS. Now the choice is ugly as hell or beauty with a substantial decrease in performance.
My real rant however is the way this is communicated. It gets a single line in a patch note with NO explanation. So, people who used the Medium Shader and don't read the patch notes will login after this patch and notice a very large difference in the visuals. The funny part is CCP Mannapi just wrote up the technical details on the planet graphics on Tues. but not one mention of this coming change. Did CSM even have a clue this was on the table?
Please reconsider this move and at the very least explain why you felt it was necessary.

How does one get information when the server crashes? The log on screen says there are 30,000 plus players in game?

likewise. have petition and received a generic, as honest as it could be reply, that it is a now know issue and to please file a bug report. 100 fittings all gone!

Over all I like the overhaul of the jukebox but I still have one beef with it and I know I'm not alone the fact that acceleration gates trigger one of the "battle music" tracks even when yer using a custom play list is freakin annoying and it would be really nice to have some kind of check box or option setting that disables this "feature".
The removal of the medium shader setting irked me because as others have said it it was a nice middle ground that made the game still playable and not hideously ugly even on my sadly aging computer but meh I suppose I'll get over it.
I won't complain about the wiping of my fits because thankfully I had them exported and backed up and only lost 2 actual fits which were easily replaced sadly it appears not everyone was so lucky |

I don't understand how something with this many buggy new features can be allowed out the door when there are so many existing issues with the game that need immediate attention. I love this game and thing you guys are CCP are amazing putting this together, but as a programmer (not games), it boggles my mind to see this type of lack of QA and the adding of new features before known issues are repaired.
And I've also lost all my fittings. Just got a bunch of new ships and modules in the last week and had wiped and rebuilt the majority of my fittings accordingly. Now they're all gone except one older one I had kept but rarely used. This really sucks.
And now another patch-related server crash while I'm in the middle of a level 4 mission. So that's a flight of Hammerhead IIs that this crash is going to cost me. Ugh. Hope you can get these issues ironed out soon.
And please - fix existing features and deploy them, testing for function and stability BEFORE adding new features. |

DL and installed the update. Got an error saying the install had failed. launcher at this point was broken and i was getting this error.

Tried the ofline installer but it says that that information has already been installed.
The thread linked to the update was locked with no attempt to offer help. Only thing that was said to me was to not post photos on a thread.
Ok......so no one wants to see the error i received and no one is willing to offer help when i post on the thread that was directly linked to the update.
Cant launch, cant install, couldnt get any help. what is left available to me? |

Try uninstalling EVE then reinstalling the full game client.
If you still can't reinstall then use this application ( http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe ) to remove the EVE uninstaller from your registry and it should allow you to reinstall after completing.

for some reason when i click on system information, i see nothing with regards to region, sec status, etc. a similar error occurs when clicking on character information, as i can only see the corp logo, but no corp name.
i tried clearing my cache, to no avail of course.

You would have thought people would figure out how things go on patch day... but nooooo.
- You do not play on patch day. Period. You wait for 4(+-) more days for the patch.0.1 to show up and fix the game breaking bugs.
- Wait a week more for the patch.0.2. to show up and fix the remaining bugs introduced by patch.0.1.
- Continue enjoying the game.

anyone else slightly annoyed by the super speed align large ships do now? I mean seriously my orca turns faster than my nano'd blockade runner. Note this doesn't change align time, but looks incrediably strange to me after playing eve all this time. |

To be frank, I haven't had audio in eve enabled for.. 3 years? more? something like that.. today I re-enabled it. Good work on the jukebox. I like the overhaul.
I would also like to know, can super-carriers be built in empire (0.4 or below) now? |

Ok I see alot of rants but nothing more positive.
Id like to know if anyone else or CCP know that the minmatar Fighter drone Einherji is spelt wrong and is not the correct word...
Einherji- was successful in Icelandic football in the 1980's but has not seen much success in recent years.
einherjar- In Norse mythology, the einherjar (Old Norse "lone fighters"[1]) are those that have died in battle and are brought to Valhalla by valkyries. In Valhalla, the einherjar eat their fill of the nightly-resurrecting beast Sµhrfmnir, and are brought their fill of mead (from the udders of the goat Hei=r·n) by valkyries. The einherjar prepare daily for the events of Ragnar÷k, when they will advance for an immense battle at the field of Vfgrf=r.

Prior to 1.1, it was possible to stop the jukebox and it would stay stopped across client restarts. Now it doesn't. I know you guys worked hard on the EVE soundtrack, but is there a way that I can permanently stop/disable the jukebox? |

General Feedback:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (Signature Edition)
Had to restart the client a few times in order to get the patch going. Kept getting the "incorrect build" on server status.
After a few restarts of the client the auto-download / install started. Took all of about 45sec and I was back in game.
In-game feedback:
The jukebox appears to be in better health, although it still seems to randomly play.
I noticed that my personal fittings were all MIA, save one.
It seems there is still an issue with "space" sound in general.
Aside from these, seems to be fine.   |

Problem solved.
Still getting the issue of music stoping myself. Also would it be posible to get that acceleration gate battle music someone was complaining about upthread listed in the Juke box. I actually like it and would like to be able to play it on demand.
On another note while I like the new paint job on my Domi could I get my guns and thruster graphics back?
