EVE Online: Dominion 1.1 deployment is now live and Tranquility is back in service. Please use this thread to list any playability issues that you experience on Tranquility. The Developers will be monitoring this thread to check for any reported issues and we will provide updates when possible. Players should note that there is an issue concerning the Male to Female voice fonts which are actually causing your voice to deepen rather than the opposite.
Please be sure to note which client you are using (Windows or Mac). Please note that a separate thread is also available for Mac issues here.
Please note that there is currently an issue with patching through Steam. We are working to get this resolved and will update you all as soon as possible.
For general feedback, please post in this thread.

Same over here.
Looks like all corp fittings survived tho.
Thanks for reporting this, are the files still present in your eve directory (personal fittings are saved locally)? (c:\<user>\Documents\EVE\fittings folder)?

This is a known issue and has been fixed internally so they can be manufactured at the small ship assembly arrays. For now you can manufacture them at stations and outposts.

That's incorrect, the fittings folder takes the exported XML files. The ingame storage is in %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\e_eve_tranquility\settings (I'll assume that's not your area of responsibility ).
While I have the old filed backed up since you guys tend to break settings each patch you cannot use the backup since the client will break it again when you log back in. Newly stored fittings do however save correctly so you must have changed the format you stored them in.
Indeed you are right! I just got corrected by CCP Habakuk next to me
We are looking into it.

Originally by: Nemesis Factor My mail system is completely borked. I am unable to view any mails or notifications. It claims to be loading the mail system, but this state is perpetual. No one else appears to be having this problem so I might just try a clean install.
try clearing your mail cache first (esc menu > reset settings > clear mail cache) |

1. Turret rate of fire decreased from 19.5 to 23.41 (strong 20% RoF bonus based on dread skill).
The new naglfar bonus is increasing rather than decreasing the turret rate of fire. This has been fixed internally. |

Originally by: Xecutori Ok I have ran the repair tool and this is what it says,
Verification Failure,
There are extra files in your EVE client installation. If you've recently applied a patch you may need to restart your computer.
Unknown Files found: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin\RTA02750
so could anybody help? I have restarted the computer numerous times and turned it off but it still wont work :(
EVE doesn't like having extra files in the bin\ directory. Move them out of there, and try the client again. If you still get an error, let us know.

Originally by: Nomistrav Edited by: Nomistrav on 29/01/2010 03:16:59 Confusion: Happened with the first dominion patch and I solved the issue myself by deleting said files, than had to reinstall five times over before it worked. CCP: My patience, and many others, grows thin. Here is the problem, you're symptoms are caused from your patch installations adding additional files (apparently) which the given method of solution (rebooting computer) does not cull. Deleting these files manually causing other problems such as inability to locate 'blue.dll' and 'python25.dll' which you retort with installing latest sound drivers. This is not the issue. I, and others, await your accurate and timely solution to this while we still pay out of our pockets for such a service.
Perhaps you need to revise your employees..?
There are extra files in your EVE client installation. If you've recently applied a patch you may need to restart your computer. Verification failed: 'C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin\_trinity.dll', crc:c209c1ce, expected:c90f4b23. Unknown files found: C:\Program Files\CCP\EVE\bin\RTA29530
I am currently excercising my past self-taught solution which is -days- faster than a mere response as proven the last time.
Run the Repair Tool, and let us know what the result is. It will leave unknown files wherever they are, so in some cases, where we've removed files from the bin\ directory, you can sometimes get extra files there. That is easily sorted by simply moving them out of the bin\ directory, since it's contents is monitored.
