Help fix the lag!
So far they never had enough people show up to produce the anomaly. If everyone that posted in the lag related threads will show up, the node will definitely go down.
Please show up for this! Please post this link to your alliance and corporation forums!

tbh CCP can sit on it, hope they do not get enough people again. If they want our help they should pay for it, then we can all not turn up. Similar to paying for subscription and not being able to play

Edited by: Liam Fremen on 26/01/2010 01:35:32 I called a formal CTA for Sys-k to partecipate in this event, i ask all the friendly and non-friendly alliance leaders/fc to do the same, let's give CCP the chance to help us having a better game:
---------------- WHEN: 27/01/2010 TIME: 17:00 EVE TIME WHERE: SINGULARITY TEST SERVER
CCP Finally decided to do something serious about the dominion lag issue, they prepared their stuff with special debugging code and since we all want a better game to play in, i'm going to call an OFFICIAL CTA for this event in the way to help them test at the best.
This is the link of the EvE Online forum thread with all instructions: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1257152
I expect all available pilots to partecipate in this stress-test event, remember that you can always stay online in tranquillity at the same time even if i suggest to close the tranquillity client when the real testing start.
Let's do our part and help CCP giving us a better game! ------------

Taking off the "politics on CAOD hat" and putting on the "We all are here because we want to actually play this game" hat, I can't see how anyone would think that what you're asking is anything but a fantastic idea.
Propellers to you, sir.
In fact, I think CCP may even want to consider doing like a "One day freeze frame" for TQ sovereignty - Downtime happens, then you get a 23 hour free day where there are no changes possible and every sovereignty structure has infinite hitpoints, then after the next downtime, everything resumes exactly where it would have been 24 hours earlier.
Then, give everyone max skill points for 23 hours on Sisi, and ask everyone to forget TQ for one day and log onto Sisi for testing.
It would show the player base they're serious, as well as encourage a pretty rad turnout. --

I don't see any reasons why the players of this game should not be intrested in partecipating in one or more then one events that will give the developers a serious chance to fix the problems that we all complain about everyday.
Considering that is not the main client and it cost nothing to log in singularity even while you are doing something else with your chars on TQ i don't consider this "impossible" it just take a bit of effort from the players.
I will push my people to partecipate in this event since is my intrest to play a better game for me and all the people that play with me, if you think the same, do the same as me, if you don't care no-one will blame you.

Soon as I see a paycheck from CCP, I will be right on it. Till then they will need to fix problems on their own.

Because I pay hard earned RL money for this game.
If I buy a burger at Macdonalds is it right to ask me to cook it too?
It'll still continue untill someone makes a similar game then mabye ccp will put some of that profit (anyone else notice the eve fee's creeping upwards parallel to its members? - should be the other way 'round) back into its product.
Im sure they are trying - but as in every buisness .. sucssess can be both a curse and a blessing.

So, following your example, if you go at Mac Donald and when you buy a Big Mac they give you it (TQ Server) but it does not taste so good, and they ask you to make the effort to try a new "recipe" of the Big Mac (Singularity Server) one or more time togheter with a lot of people for free while Mac Donald company check the results in a way where they could improve the "original" Big Mac that you are paying for....
What would you do?
Try to help Mac Donalds make a better Big Mac or just keep eating the usual crap one that you keep complaining about out of lazyness?
They are not asking to cook it, otherwise they would be asking you to make the code for them, what they are asking is helping them reproducing situations that they can't do by themself (trying the new Big Mac recipe).

They wouldn't ask you to pay for your Big SisiMac though. Following that example TQ should freeze and every subscriber should get free days in his subscription for the duration of the testing.

This is not a burger, and there are no other burger joints down the street. If it was and there were other burger joints down the street, we would not be here.
This is a unique, custom built spacecraft, that can take us all to the stars when it is working. They need our help to relaunch it and I don't mind doing that if I can get my fix again as a result.

Occupying Jita and then jump in 400-500 man fleet will help more than those sisi tests. I mean. The more unhappy players, the more they put effort on this.
They have had already one sisi testing.. its running there 23/7... and they have data from tq logs... well ok.. maybe they dont have any logs, and thats why it is so hard to fix things...
