What happened to eve, blob warfare runs it now adays. Everyone loves 1000 vs 1000 in 1 system right ? Worst thing ccp every did was make "standings" I say every allaince for themselves.

I think CCP made standings because someone sort of hacked the client side of the game and made friends show up blue..
CCP decided to make this a game feature.
I could be very very wrong about this.

Maybe standing should have cost increasing the more people you add and the longer!?

it was no real hack, simply the character pictures got replaced by alliance logos (or another small picture). That doesn't helped in a fleet fight, was only to identify enemies in local.

Blob warfare can be fun as hell, I see what drives people towards it, but sometimes you have to get away and just chill out being irrelevent for a while

Blob warfare is very fun so long as it isn't everything you do. If i had to sit in the lag 23/7 for a month id quit eve. However I enjoy finding fights in other ways than simply 50-800 vs 50-800. Its like mining all day is rather boring unless you spice it up with a mission or two.

Not quite, standing pre-existed this. Goonswarm mass modified their clients to show standings in local, then:
