Agreed. Alaxen gets -5 on the ForumFu rating....woulda been -10 but he's in my alliance :)
Goons took one in the nards but somehow I doubt there will be a wagon train leading to Jita anytime soon. Its fun that the status quo got rocked-no matter what the reason.
Just glad it didn't happen in Esoteria....

If you think the GDC speaking engagement is the funniest part, apparently you haven't read his most current Ten Ton Hammer article covering the mechanics behind the events that unfolded today. In all seriousness I hope he does go through with the speaking engagement since any marketing for Eve is good for the game.

I have spoken at several national conferences on technology, so I know and enjoy public speaking. I can't even imagine how uncomfortable it would be to be speaking to hundreds of people as a expert panelist for a topic I don't seem to grasp functionally. I am sure a couple of jokes to break the ice with a touch of self deprecation would do the trick.

Actually, the Mittani is probably the only real winner of EvE, seeing that he got a job writing about it. You can all moan about how terrible he is, but now he gets paid (i think) to actually talk about it.
