We tried that (or at least I did) at the beginning of this game of whack-a-mole. Those civil, factual posts were Stenssoned for 'discussing moderation" even when they weren't (the flashpoint was a thread discussing Shirts of all things).
So, since any form of public communication about the fact that Volunteer moderation (esp with an evident lack of training/history lesson) is a poor idea for the EvE-O forums is useless;
Whack-a-mole it is.

IB4TStensson. I'm not sure why the shirt tucking thread was nuked, although I can see an argument made that the OP could not possibly be that stupid and was blatantly trolling. I'm well past under estimating the that particular segment of the EVE community.
The shirt tucker was a random newbie who hadn't been able to find the tuck button. The thread got stenssoned before anyone could answer the newbie's question.
(Question got answered on like the third ressurected thread off that)

Fair enough, any suggestion that doesn't require GM or Dev involvement (so they can concentrate on the game) or volunteers?
Hire people like Zymurgist. Not all CCP employees are game Devs.
Or, if CCP can't afford to have people on payroll to moderate the forums (they can probably have other jobs as well), leave the forums unmoderated.
If CCP wants moderated forums, they're gonna pay for them, one way or another. Free Mods are cheap until you have to clean up the shit that comes from relying on free mods.

Ok just to give my very small input - can you people please use the correct term (CCL) when discussing these people? ISD on the whole are talented lovely people who do hard work for no money to help players like me and you in game. The specific issue most of you seem to have is with a particular member of a particular team so please try to refrain from calling them all useless.
1) This storms been going on for a few hours. Some of the better threads are some 4 pages down.
2) Yes, it's the CCL we're talking about, but they're wearing the ISD tag, so they're getting the IG ISDs painted with their brush.
