Edited by: Bjorn Christopherson on 28/01/2010 14:31:13 Edited by: Bjorn Christopherson on 28/01/2010 14:25:29 I have been running a complex reaction at a POS for some time now, it involves 3 input silos, the complex reactor and the output silo. Today when I logged on to move the output minerals, I went to offline the output silo so I could grab the mins out of it. However, I received the following error message:
Notify The Silo cannot be interrupted in that action.
I also noticed that even though the the silo says it is online, I could move mins out of the silo and back into it, which cannot be done with an offline tower.
Here is a picture showing that all silos are displayed as 'online': http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/681/20100128141249.jpg
Here is a picture showing that I can move the mins from the output silo into my cargohold while the silos are still online:
http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/3723/20100128141453.jpg
Here is a picture of my log of me trying to offline 3 of the silos, and then one of the silos can actually be onlined/offlined: http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/3568/20100128141752.jpg
Also note that I last emptied the silo at about 2:00 eve time, and fist tried checking the silo on the 13:00 eve time cycle, meaning that I should have had 16.5k nanotransistors in my output, but I only actually have 6 hours of nanotransistors (9k). I dont know when patch 1.1.1 was released, but my silos might be messed up because of the patch.
I already petitioned this, was wondering if other people were having this problem too.

Its not only the Silos, even the Ship Main Array and other modules (shown as Online) arent working .. and if someone starts to offline them to restart, they say that they are "onlining and cannot be offlined" .. but the modules are already online since.

I am having similar issues with my reaction tower. Reactors refuse to link up at all. Whats more, if I attempt to offline a reactor I get the same msg regarding not being able to interrupt the reactor during the action.

I just checked my math, my POS cycles at about :21 into the hour, I pulled my mins out after the 2:21 cycle, and downtime for 1.1.1 was at 10:00, which would have occured before the 7th cycle of mins, meaning that my silos indeed stopped working after the deployment process for 1.1.1 started.

Update: I went to some of my corp's other POS's and it seems that the silos there aren't bugged. I am even more confused now.

I am having similar issue with 2 towers. Both towers were anchored and onlined yesterday after DT. Today after patch DT both POSes have broken silos and reactors, I cant offline them and they stay online even if tower is offline.

It seems coupling arrays are not working, silos are working. Result: reactions not working at all!!!! POSes are consuming fuel for nothing!!! WHAT IS GOING ON???

Same, petition filed. Only the Component Assembly Array seems affected at my Corp's POS.
Sure would like to finish and start jobs :-) ------- Nothing especially witty to say at this time. |

I didnt even think of this, I'm not on eve anymore, but has anyone checked their CPU/PG to see if the mods are actually online/offline consuming more ozone and heavy water?

just checked: they're consuming pg/cpu as normal structures.

I am having the same problem and guess what guys , I cant control my guns. So pos gunning is out atm. Can't access ship maintenance bay . Can't offline or online anything. My pos is just sitting there waiting to be freely attacked . Just stuck in a loop I guess. Another quality patch from ccp. Guess I should feel lucky it wasn't my boot.ini file again.

Same problem,
Trying to deliver a copy job, it says I can't do this when the Mobile Lab is offline. It is online and any attempts to take it offline gives me a counter argument, saying I can't do this whilst the lab is running a job.
Good work CCP, my POS is swallowing fuel and I can't do anything about it.

Just checked, mine is consuming fuel as normal, stront levels the same as they were before. reactor cant react anything cuz the silos are bugged.
1.1.1 turned POS's into a P-O-S

Had an issue where someone ejected a ship from the maintenence array and it blew up!?!?
Obviously he has no loss mail from this, just a lonely wreck floating next to the array...grrr..

Both my POS's have silos that notify The Silo cannot be interrupted in that action. They don't seem to burn stront, though. I won't touch anything. Please, CCP, reset the server.

Edited by: Bjorn Christopherson on 28/01/2010 20:13:13 Due to an issue with POS, we will take Tranquility down in 6 minutes at GMT 20:12, to apply a fix to the server. We expect downtime to last no longer than 20 minutes.
- The EVE Online Team

Of course, we prolly won't be refunded for the wasted fuel....

I bet we also don't get back the stront that was incorrectly consumed when not in reinforced, and lost polymer/reaction cycles
