Aside from using Covert Ops and Cloaking I do have some other ideas on how to try this. Won't be fast, and for general missions most likely not profitable either.
But then again, smuggling has neve quite been an easy and fast thing to do...
Counting down the days before I can get online!

Contraband delivery work around: take the contraband and put it in the cargo hold of a shuttle, then place the shuttle in your indy cargo hold. indy must be able to move 5k m3s for this to work. tried and tested, this works.
Good luck until ccp fix the missions.

Korbin, you're a pain in the ass. There goes my smuggling business, now that everyone knows how to do it.
Some people have NO idea...

Agent mission woes
reported by GM Arkanon | 2004.11.25 21:12:47 | NEW We are experiencing some difficulties with agent missions at the moment, as many of you will have noticed. Many kill missions are not currently working, since the NPC entities are not showing up to be killed, which is rather unsporting of them.
Secondly, agents are giving out missions which require contraband items to be ferried between locations. As the Empires are now actively hunting and punishing contraband smugglers, those found carrying such items can expect harsh repercussions. This seems to be of little concern to the agents, perhaps understandably, since they neither own the ships being blown up nor do they answer the petitions from the enraged pilots.
In light of this, we urge players to refrain from taking agent missions until we have implemented a fix for these issues
CRAP!!
They expect us to turn down a mission and take a hit on our rating with said agent and his corp?
NAH not gonnna happen..

No, they don't expect you to turn down a mission. They expect you not to ASK for the mission in the first place.
