are all the stealth bombers the same? I noticed that no matter what race you chose the bonuses are all the same, so is it just preference or is there a particular stealth bomber that is better than the rest?

The stealth bomber changes are the biggest victories by the whine-until-everything-is-the-same crowd. They are identical, with very minor, inconsequential differences in fitting attributes, and can now fit a covops cloak.

Lies. They do use different bombs and their fitting slots are different. So yea they are pretty much the same but..not. I guess the idea of making them have cool bonuses like say force recons was Too much.. bah. |

on the subject of stealth bombers id like to point oue the manticore... is yellow. now im not a technical guy, but "stealth" seems to be the key, and since caldari have black and red t2 ships, y cant it be black and red?

You seem to be under the alarming delusion that paint job makes the slightest difference to stealthiness.
You also somehow missed the fact the Nemesis is gold plated and the Purifier is white.

i dont fly em so i dont notice, but a yellow ship just doesnt seem to stealthy, but u could argue wen cloaked u cant see it at all.

You might want to consider that bombers are very fragile and that getting the hell out can be very important.
Probably the most important consideration is damage type. |

That and CPU. Most Purifier fits have a hard time with CPU because it's amarr, whereas the manticore has gobs and gobs of it, though it only has 2 lows (moar damage mods!!!)

Different damage type bonuses.
Hound is explosive. I don't know which ones the other ones are.

Hound = Exp, Purifier = EM, Manti = Kinetic, and the Gallente one whose name escapes me = Thermal.
Most people fly the Hound or Purifer due to the damage type they inflict, and their slot layout.

If you're into bombing BS blobs the best choices would be hound or manticore, for good damage types and agility

amazingly, I get a harder time with the hound than with the purifier.
