In the same vein, CCP nerfed Tech II light ion powergrid. I can't even put my frustration about nerfs into words anymore.
Exodus is appearing to be a huge close-range hate patch.

Quote: why do you think everyone (= not specialized btw) uses the mwd module on their frigs and cruiser and even most BS...? again using a mwd is NOT specialized! its nessacary... dont fit it on your frig or cruiser and die...
You're right, but I see nerfing MWDs as the lazy solution to this problem. CCP should come up with alternative methods to keeping your ship alive other than speed. There are now THREE major penalties to a MWD other than powergrid and cap usage, and still people use them because there's simply no viable alternative.
Not to mention the "no using two MWDs or use them in complexes" nerf is purely arbitrary. Two or more MWDs severly crippled the ability to do anything else. And now peeps will have extreme difficulty in maneuvering as needed in complexes for Tomb only knows why.
The one thing that irritates me about any game company doing nerfs is that all nerfs do is eliminate options. A much healthier solution to balance problems is either add new options, or add nerf+new options. But no one ever seems to do that.
If CCP wants us to use a greater variety of modules, they should MAKE THE OTHER MODULES MORE USEFUL. The should NOT nerf the modules that are useful. CCP's nerfs haven't ruined the game yet, but this bad habit of theirs does not bode well for the future of EVE, in my honest to goodness (and calmly thought out) opinion.

It hits rails more. And travel time, etc. Let's have a competition for victims.
The point is, that the inability to use a MWD in complexes affects different combat styles for the same reason. It severly restricts our ability to maneuver to our optimal ranges without inflicting the same penalty on our opponents.
To CCP: either allow MWD usage in complexes, or do not allow the NPC 'rats to use them either. Either option is considerably better than the current state of affairs.
