I also confess I lost many many Tengus, but always in a different way.
Once during small-gang PVP - Warped at 0 and practically shook hands with a neut Dominix I thought was mission-fit.
Once being ganked - Cross-tackled on a lowsec gate.
Once being AFK - Warped to anomaly with what appears to have been "hardeners off" style and went to finish dishes.
Once pulling a Leeroy Jenkins in a previously never tried angel escalation signature.
Once hauling one - With my alt while hauling a new one and undocking at a kick-off station in lowsec.
Once while "AFK Cloaking" and getting caught in a trap (covert cyno style).
Once by a corpmate in highsec.
Not sure it it makes it worse, but it happened in that order |

easier said then done... people get really attached to thier ships... i still have my first ship i ever bought... i would probs rage quit if i lost it... i mean its over 7 years old...
the difference is for solo players ships are important cuss loosing them is a real hit... but for big alliances that have reinbursement pvp is more of an arcade game because a loss means nothing...

me too sad thing is i actually post more with my forum alt then i play eve with my main...
i am mostly a solo player who does casual pvp but i really enjoy solo pve adn that has not been iterated on in years... so i have no need to log in anymore...

good for you... for alot of players they dont differentiate between pvp and pve ships... like when i first started to play i would take my ratting ship and if there was a friend being attacked i would do a quick refit and chance loosing my best ship...
the sad thing is peeps would rather save up for estameles invuls then buy 15 pvp bs's...
