Yngwie Malmsten	Posted - 2010.02.08 03:19:00 - [1] I've been roaming around 0.0 for a while now looking for some good fights but I can't find anything. Usually there's more than 10 people in local but I can never find them on my scanner either. The only ships I find are usually HACs on gates or something and I can't engage them because I'm in a T2 fitted Incursus. Could someone lend me some tips on how to practice good hunting in EVE? Thanks.

Thanks. Try flying a real ship instead? Sounds to me like you have plenty of targets, but your lacking willingnes of actually losing stuff is what keeps you from getting kills.

Posted - 2010.02.08 05:43:00 - [7] I have on occasion gone to 0.0 with alts flying non-expensive fit Rifters and gotten plenty of fights, so you are either in the wrong place or you are too hesitant in picking fights. Heck, even if I thought there was a slim chance of me winning a fight I would still go for it as it was more experience and surprisingly to me I won most. Wherever you are though you should do your research imo, who are the locals, what do they do, what do they like to fly and what are their main routes in and out of the area. Prey on the weak and when bored try to prey on the not so weak as well. After a short time things should start to fall into place, just got to gain the experience and don't be too hesitant or else you will never get a fight. Kirra Liu /Lord Windu

Jovialmadness	Posted - 2010.02.08 17:13:00 - [18] Most of the newer guys playing are afraid of true one vs one engagements so they run in packs. There are only a few of us left that actually go out solo anymore and even that is rare. When I do I have to gather intel just to make sure the 3-4 guys I'll be engaging won't turn to 5-10. Even then I can't be sure I won't get hot dropped thanks tinkerhell
