Slippery won't get banned, the previous owner was "scamming" which is just another form of PvP which is entirely acceptable in EVE. In fact, you could probably trade on the reputation of the character by continuing the scam!
See the Making ISK Guide section on "Various acts of Dubious Morality" for other ideas :)
And stay out of Motsu unless you're there to commit acts of dubious morality!

3) Everything can be looted or traded, there are no specail "quest" items in this game.

Second of all.. Nothing in the missions in EVE is yours!
If thats youre logic then NPC should petition you for stealing the Damsel from them.. 
Learn to deal with taking a loss or skoot back to WoW, hello kitty online or whatever cute litle rainbowgame you are used to play...

1. Not a "quest".
2. Missions do not generate "Instances". You are present in the universe. Thus anything from said universe can interfere with you.
