Anyone know if there is going to be an upgrade for null sec systems that have info hubs to increase the appearance of gas clouds?

Haven't heard anything about it, but that would be very nice if they added it. -sig- Support the introduction of Blaze crystals for Amarr!

Over the last several months, I have seen a few dozen gas clouds near where I live.
However, not a single one has been a LADAR site independent of a wormhole. Every single one (LADAR site) was spawned inside of a wormhole that either spawned inside our system or near to it.
What would be interesting to find out, is if the upgrade system was intended to affect the occurrence of LADAR sites in addition to GRAV, Hacking, and Archeology sites (they spawn as cosmic signatures- similar to plexes). True they are spawning, but not outside of the Apocrypha wormhole mechanics.

I'm guessing they want to preserve values of higher class gas clouds. As it stands, the more valuable gas clouds only spawn in C5s/C6s whereas ABC ores spawn in all classes of WH systems. If they added this type of iHub upgrade, you'd see gas prices go through a rapid market crash, most likely reducing T3 prices lower than CCP had originally intended.

Fullerite gas clouds do not spawn in k-space; period.
None of the current industrial upgrades modify gas cloud site spawning (ladars with booster gases, i.e. "blank" cytoserocin). Keep note, these sorts of ladar sites are in plenty of abundance in their COSMO constellations, and to a lesser degree their fellow constellations in their respective regions.

we're talking about gas'es for making combat boosters here... -sig- Support the introduction of Blaze crystals for Amarr!

Gas for booster production is easy to find. You just need to know where to look.
I know it sound ambiguous, but it is the truth.

Yes, but I believe the idea behind industry upgrades is that you would get mining belts. Gas harvesting is pretty much mining in my book.
I don't think it's too much to ask for a few clouds to pop or an increased chance of random clouds popping in a system with industry upgrades. Right now though I think the industry upgrade system is fubar anyway. So I'm not going to hold my breath.

Yes it is.
Booster gas clouds are in abundance in where they are supposed to be found and fullerite gas clouds are in abundance in where they are supposed to be found.
If anything I would support the ladar hacking sites (the ones with the booster reactions/blueprints/expensive skillbooks) to be affected by the "Survey Network" upgrade (currently increases spawns of hacking/archeology/salvaging sites). _____________________________________________
