Two minute lag delays + 159k repair bill = 2 week vacation

Derisor	Posted - 2004.11.25 16:36:00 - [1] The game is unplayable now. Two minutes are taking to activate my modules, meanwhile the enemy has killed half my ship. I now have a 159k repair bill and I didnt even kill one bad guy in the mission. instead I ran like a little girl. Suggestion: CCP, CLOSE down HTTP download. Torrent is faster and better. If this is what is causing the lag just shut it down. See you in about 2 weeks when I can actually play without loosing my 6 million cruiser (ship, mods and insurance) to a 5k bounty rat. --------- The words "Exciting" and "Safe" are mutually exclusive; pick one.

Xelios	Posted - 2004.11.25 16:48:00 - [9] Yeah there'll be lag on a patch like this, it's a given. What's not a given however is losing 2 battleships to the warp in bug at a complex, not easy to help the guy getting pwnd by 30+ ships if he just bumped you 200km away when he dropped out of warp.

Eve after patch day NEVER runs smoothly, it aways takes a few days to iron out the little probs, you just have to deal with it along with the other 11k people that log onto this game daily Euph ............................ Yeah, because starting a thread pointing out that there is lag straight after a major patch is a really beneficial and effective use of time. If you feel hard done by - petition. Very simple really.
