Wait, they nerfed Drakes? I know I've been gone for some time but I honestly haven't noticed a difference, what did they do?
I think my dreamship is already here, I played around with a Tengu in EFT trying to turn it into an overglorified Force Recon vessel. Someday I will find out if that was a complete waste of time and isk but for now it was fun to toy with and I thought it looked good on paper.

should have enough power/cpu to fit covert ops cloak, probe launcher, and small jumper, plus maybe an AB or MWD and nanos/expanders. (doesn't much matter, as long as it has those first three things)

2 more destroyers for each race, make one dedicated salvagers with increased cargohold and bonuses to salvagers and tractor beams. Make the other like the tier 1 destroyers, but with less offense and a cloak-smartbomb that decloaks everything on grid...it'd need something else....not sure what...maybe the ability to fit ONE gun of any kind for free.
heheheh Catalyst with a single siege blaster. Or well, it'd be more like a siege blaster with a catalyst stuck to it somewhere.
and fix the tier 1 BCs before any more.

I would like an ultimate cloaky ship of doom.
Strategic cruiser with: Minmatar resists Bonus to shield resist per level Bonus to Projectile damage/rof/falloff Bonus to neut range and power Cov ops cloak at least a full flight of warrior II's
Enough - mids to fit a MWD, med cap booster, point, 2/3 slot shield buffer - highs to fit 4 guns, 2 neuts, cov-ops cloak - lows to fit DCU, damage mods and maybe 2 nanos or tracking enhancers
Would be stupidly awesome to have space and bonuses for tracking disruptors as well. As would space for a sisters combat probe launcher when expensively fit.
Sort of a mix between curse/pilgrim/cane, but with more hitpoints and higher damage potential (not than a gank cane, that would be silly)

I'd like to see a 'Galleon' ship. Basically a transport/destroyer hybrid with decent tank. Likely a T2 indistrial alternative to the blockade runner and deepspace transport. Alternatively could have a Large/BS hull instead of mid-size making rigs more expensive.
Concept is to give it enough firepower to kill-off frigate/destroyer/cruiser rats without competing with BC/BS/HAC ships. Might make life tougher for suicide gankers. Would also make a good salvage boat.

My dream ship would be a battlecruiser version of the Blackbird.
- 4 highs (2 + 2), 8 mids, 4 lows - standard T1 jam strength bonus - jam range bonus between Blackbird and Scorpion - 25 drone capacity and bandwidth - average tier 2 battlecruiser speed/agility/resists/HP - enough CPU/grid to fit e.g. a 1600 plate + non-zero lows, MWD + jammers, medium + small neut, 2xHML - with skills at IV, able to MWD out to its jamming optimal and have 30% cap remaining
I wouldn't always fit it as listed, but it should have room for that.

hmm what am i dreaming of, for a ship?

100% reduction in salvager & tractor Energy use. 200% range on both.
150% Base speed of tractors.
1000m3 cargo.
400ms base speed. Cruiser size, and agility.
No salvager bonus (were gonna rig it for salvagers...)
err.. have it so it CANNOT hold ore? can only hold loot.. we don't want a ore hauler on the sly here.. thats the Rorquals job! no Launcher / Turret HPs Paperthin armor and shields. BS sized sigradius.
Basically, a big, SLOW salvager, ... oh and give it the ability to lock 8 targets..
Noone will ever take it near combat, it can haul those wrecks in, salvage them, and hold just enough loot so its not full after only 1BS.
Those with perfect salvaging skills might forgoe the salvage tackle rig and stick 2x Cargo expander IIs but thats thier choice!
Err yeah.. thats what im dreaming of. something to speed the monotonous task of hauling all these wrecks in!!
