Have been taking advantage of my 8.80 status with Cal Navy, but have lost 2 BS's already to agent missions. I can not think of a config I can use on an apoc that can get me through the senario.
Accepted a mission today which involved multiple spawns...the first two spawns were 12 ships each, a combination of cruisers and frigs....got through those (just) only to have the 3 spawn which consisted of 4 Ravens and multiple cruisers and frigs. Needless to say I only made it out of that in a pod.
Has the opportunities for freelancers or solo players been completely overlooked here?
I have 13.5 million skill points and am an experienced player, but can not think of a way of completing missions such as these without a large gang of buddies.

Feel a response is due to the all-to-familiar flames of noobs etc. Go do some Cal Navy LvL 4 missions alone and see how u get on...then come back and flame me. If you can't think of something positive to add then don't.
Agreed that some of the missions are doable alone...but most aren't. I would just like to think that there is an opportunity in the game for freelancing. I have spent a heap of time getting my Cal Navy sec rating up to a level where I can accept lvl 4 missions and am just a bit frustrated that I can't do them alone. There is a quantum leap between the difficulty in lvl 3 agent to lvl 4. I can't judge if a mission can be done alone until I accept it...and then I take a hit on my sec if I then decline it.

so you didn't solo it then? FYI I did complete a missile battery / sentry gun mission by myself. Maybe you could read my original post again. My point was that SOME of these are too difficult to do alone, and that there is limited opportunity for freelancing them.
Will be happy to hear your comments when you have done a few by urself.
