A few days ago, myself and a wingman, former AM memebers of Provi, flew into a CVA controled space to assist friendlies in a fight off the station only to end with Paxton and LFA members popping my ship and pod. http://killboard.evetlc.org/?a=kill_detail&kll_id=93 Now many questions I have yet to figure out as my corp exec is trying to hail someone in the diplo channel on reasons why. Have CVA holders changed from NRDS to NBSI. If so what does that mean to friendly neuts such as myself and others who have bravely fought along side of the CVA and thier holders. Has CVA lost control of thier holders and homeland??

During my month long stay in Sylph I was attacked on 4 separate occasions by "blue" holders, way before any of the current festivities.
I would advise caution in these areas, as often the holders see solitary neuts and blues as targets of opportunity that cannot fight back.
And trust me, the diplo channels are not going to help you.

"Friendly neuts".
Checking your killboard you don't seem very friendly. You seem like incompetent PvP'ers butthurt about getting killed by other incompetent PvP'ers.
Maybe you should get a clue.

looking into his killboard i see he have been friendly with Providence holders, actually at a certain time he was part of Aegis Militia, so i say he has been friendly with CVA. Probably u are buthurt since u haven't got the gust to post with ur main toon; Oh well, looking at this i'm no longer suprised about providence fall anytime soon to AAA or any of their allies.

We don't do diplomacy on forums. Join the channel CVA-Diplo in game if you can not get this resolved with Paxton and LFA.

Some corpmates and myself were attacked as well while shooting an anomaly in some out of the way system.
We were warped in on by fully pvped t2 cruisers and bubbled.
I think its just frustration and not being able to fight real pvpers .. so they turn their sights on the residents.

You know, shooting them after the fact they blew you up really helps with the diplo...just saying.
It happens sometimes. With the recent activity in providence it doesn't surprise me. I'm also blue to CVA but still get shot on occasion because of overview settings, but you don't see me coming to the forums and whining about it. Also, I now have one of those annoying sigs.

In fact was in the CVA diplomacy channel and no response the night of kill. Alliance CEO also went to the diplomacy channel the day after and placed a KOS request for the pilots involved with also no response and only after the KOS request was removed with no expiation was further action taken on our part. As I see it now we are KOS on the CVA kill boards!

It's a well known fact that many of the holder alliances, especially the ones based around catch, that are supposed to follow the NRDS do not. Even the ones who claim to do so are liable to turn on you the moment you look like an easy target.
This is something to take into consideration when running plexes or sites that you have scanned out yourself, as you will normally be running them in some sort of pve based ship, and the holders who scan you out and decide to kill you, may not.
You will also find that if a large number of reds (I.e. 1-2) come into system, you might be forced to fight them all on your own as the docking bays get jammed.

Edited by: Furb Killer on 14/02/2010 20:53:04 So you got shot in what you think was friendly fire, and you decide to go complain on the eve forums about it? There are diplos for a reason...
Not to mention on your own kb you first kill a paxton raven, and then you complain when they kill your ship?
Small edit: I see you got killed before the km you linked also, even then, you think it is standing error, overview error, etc. That happens often enough, yet what you do next is kill a ratter with your neutral status, and then complain on forums when you get set KOS and get killed.

happened to me as well. got shot sometime by cva people
and no, im not on their cos list, neither my corp ever was
when i convoed the guy later, he told me that i acted suspiciously and they shot me, in case i felt that i was treated unfairly, they advised me to contact some random dude
to hell with that, if its NRDS, then stick to it.
nowadays at any given occasion, when i have a chance to fly there and shoot at cva people, i happily do

Put CVA friendly on your bio and corp description and you won't have a problem unless you're on their KOS list.
Spent a nice spell ratting out there in order to quickly earn a freighter, never had a problem and I moved all over the place in there. CVA holders are usually nice guys unless you're doing something wrong or ambiguous.

Wrong. Anyone can put CVA friendly in their bio, and last week that was pointed out to me after I called one of them an idiot for shooting me while I was killing an -A- bubble. Not on KOS list and had the usual "friendly" bullcrap in my bio, although I have a poor sec status, the reason I was shot was that he thought I was agressing him or some crap like that, although he had sat there near me for a moment before locking and opening fire which makes me he was just after a cheap kill. On the bright side it makes him a valid target now.
Point is that in my opinion, not counting my own experiences but other peoples experiences lately, is that it's best to stay well clear of the area as it is a war zone. People will be trigger happy and paranoid, there will be folks who just aren't happy there anymore and not bothered about the rules of engagement and finally, the space is **** anyway so if it's ratting or mining you are after then you should be looking at other options that will result in a better area to operate in.

Maybe not fly around in a stealth bomber next to 2 groups fighting it out? If your not in either fleet, it makes it seem like your flying with the opposing fleet.
P.S. If your going to pvp, please fit your ships properly.

thats bull they have enough reds to deal with.. for them to go actively hunting residents for 'looking suspicious' then they really deserve what they're getting.
