If this is a newb question, feel free to ignore it.
I was wondering where all the major market hubs are located around empire? From what I've read there are about six, but I'm only aware of Jita. |

Actually, there are exactly nine (9), but people probably won't tell you about them all, since some of them are so profitable!

Liar.
I'm so glad you bothered to click on my link. Oh wait, you didn't, because if you had, you would have noticed the #1 result for searching for "Eve online market hub" was the EVE Wiki link that you found using EVE-Search.

Amarr, Jita, Agil, Torrinos pop to my mind. Hek and Ours also, but dunno really, dont do minny and gallente space myself. Paye is also kinda relevant for some supplies, and ice products sell well in saminer (low sec) as most of south jumps with their capitals thru that system bcos it has station with awsom dock range and it is in very good spot from most of south. Then there is the providence pipe also ofc but it's kinda mess atm I think. Many people in there shooting each other.
And then there are 0.0 trade hubs in some NPC regions.

It's not a question of etiquette, it's a question of bothering to actually search for information before making another thread. There have been many many threads exactly like this one; it's up there with "What's the best/most profitable item to trade in?"
The #1 result, Lecheridiot, was merely the #1 result. There were (surprise!) other results beneath it. And at least I bothered to help him; you just sit here and troll.

No you did not... The question was: "What are the major trade hubs, and where are they located?"
You told him to go Google it or EVE-search it... That, my friend, is not the answer to the question...

Edited by: Jubal Dara on 15/02/2010 20:02:49 As a reminder for the old-timers here in MD, not EVERYONE has been playing since '03 or '04. That might explain the existence of new posts with old questions. They might be old questions to you but to others it is new info. Welcoming their questions might keep them playing (and buying your merchandise) instead of ridiculing them and driving away new customers.
Besides, if you don't want to answer the same "old" question, you do have the freedom to ignore it. Someone else will help the guy out given time. Getting irritated only makes sense if you HAVE to answer these posts and you just cannot stand the drudgery of repeating yourself. And as far as I am aware, no one (including CCP) is getting paid to do that.
Just the opinion of an ageing n00bie who ran into the same "welcome".

LOL Whoever listed that as the trade hub for Black Rise clearly doesn't trade or even live there.
Black Rise's Trade hub is actually 4 systems. Since all the stations are within 3 jumps of each other (in high sec) you can sell items anywhere and they will sell at good rates.
However Ichoriya is the system that has the MOST on sale. Which is 3 Jumps away from Onnamon.

Damn CCP for putting the 2nd highest highsec combat agent for Gallente federation in Cat!!! To top it off, there is a storyline agent 1 jump away in Derririntel
I enjoyed when there was about 10 people in local. Then that agent went in and it went up to around 125 or so before I moved out

I'm not trolling. I just want you to actually realise that you are behaving incredibly arrogantly and unhelpfully, i.e. calling people lazy, idiotic morons. If topic annoys you, leave it alone, rather than vent your e-rage. Just because our opinions differ on what constitutes "manners" doesn't make me unintelligent. Unlike you, I responded (positively) to his question, but I removed my comment when I saw that the poster above me had given the same information. That is all, g'night

OOHHHH! A list of trade hubs, nice...good job Dax on finding it within 2 seconds.
I think Dax's problem is that alot of people come on the forum and ask questions about a topic without bothering to do any research. In this case, it's fairly obvious that no research was done.

In afterthought, I was looking up 'Trading' in google for a week, and unfortunately didn't find any information on the various trade hubs; so the error was in forgetting to do an exclusive keyword search. You have my apolagies over such a simple error. that google link you provided sent me went to google's main page, as I was at work and using IE at the time.
My question did however provide much more information than I have othewerwise been able to find elsewhere.
As for your statements, if you want to abuse people for creating questions "you" think are not worthy of "your" time, don't reply to them. It's that simple.
For the other people who replied positively, thank you. For those who didn't reply at all. Thank you for not being an ass. Oh wait... sorry... that is "not being a turd." Apparently angry forumites associate everything they read with feaces. Hmm... Maybe they should clean their screens more often.

This is not a credible claim, in light of how many trade hubs are listed in the first few results in a Google search on just the three key words: eve trading hubs
If you meant that your error was that you didn't include the keyword hubs in your web search for a list of hubs, then perhaps the difficulty that you experienced in this search has exposed a more basic problem with the way you approach web searching: generally, you should include in your search the search terms for which you claim to be searching. á á
