I was going about my merry business talking. Then, I lost connection with the server! Alas! I attempt to log in, but I am stuck at authenticating forever. Is anyone else having this problem? The server tells me there are still almost 5000 people on!

Sounds similar to me also. Was doing an easy courior mission, almost had the bonus when i lost con. Now cant log back in.
These are just my views and they could be wrong.....often wrong if you listen to my wife. |

I can't log on eigther I'm stuck at authenticating...
what saddens me is last I saw me and my alt were tangling a lvl 4 mission and doing well... Then I noticed no one was losing like any health... time elapses so I look and see my alts screen he's full life... on my main I see in gang my alt is taking armor... more time elapses... I see my alt dieing yet he still shows full life. not really concerned about my alts frig (he was playing target) I decide it's time to leave and give the warp out commands... much time passes and I see my alt is a pod now... still showing full health on his screen. so finaly I close eve hoping autowarp off will work since nothing is happening and now I can't get back on to run if it didn't :/

Oh well, they did warn us to keep a long skill training cause of possible probs, so i guess this would be my fault.

Had this problem earlier right after the patch about 30 mins in to the server being up.. tried relogging about 5 times and then rebooted (about 5 mins later) and it fixed it.. just rebooted twice and no go
I'm no expert but it seems the server dedicated to login/authenticating (where it sticks 4ever til connection lost)
is having probs since patch, eats up my bandwidth too trying to authentic.
30 mins to skill training complete
Please advise =)

my god what is wrong with this game if its going be this bad ccp should of used my advice and take another few weeks and test out the problems more. i cant even log in thats so poor my god this feels like a free server on a mutiplayer game like DiabloII. Even the website is slow slow slow my god what they use same servers lol from k-mart

Now it says unable to connect to port well thats not my problem my cable is fine its all eve they either rebooted the damn thing or it finally came down crashing somthing it does best

hey its no prob, i understand we are all a bit upset, but at the same time, if any of u rem castor deploy, it was alot worse. Constant reboots for like a week and couldnt do crap. So to say i got to play for an hour or 2 today is fine, just lets me go do something productive in RL.

Couldn't chat, couldn't perform any actions (this was in rens) so I quit. Tried to log in and was stuck at authenticating. Now the launchpad says that the server is down. Hope this is rebooting cuz I have to go to sleep and need to set a skill first >.<

Maybe the night GM took a nap resting on the server cable? He / she then slowly slid towards the end of the table and as they fell off and knocked themselves out they pulled out the "uh oh, server go bye-bye" cable. Yes that's what happened I think *nods* I'm a genius!
It does make me wonder if they are aware the cluster has gone down though, I'm used to seeing a notice about it rebooting by now either at login or on the site but I see nothing so far.
Dsanta: No, not in Britan anyway. I don't see why Thanksgiving is such a big deal over in the US anyway.
