So if you have an older sisi version you get prompted with the full installer that is 2.5 GB. About the splash screen: I can't diagnose this with just this info. If clearing cache and a reinstall of the client don't work, then please file a BR with a logserver log attached. See the other sticky on how to do that.

You just have to wait till a new mirror is taken for which there is no eta yet.

I can't say a lot about how much you will see of other people's networks but they will not be instanced in any way even if you might not see all of them. Copy your TQ folder to some other folder and patch from there to the latest Sisi. Don't use the full test installer. Try downloading the small patch exe http://content.eveonline.com/test/evepremiumpatch127381-145169_test.exe and then the archive http://cdn1.eveonline.com/test/EVEPREMIUM.6.21.127381-6.30.145169_TEST.7z which is what the patcher exe downloads. Put both in the same directory and the exe will pick up the archive instead of downloading it. It is only 47MB, that should be no problem.

We only make patches for the last couple of versions and your version is rather "old". Yes, you can just erase it and recopy your TQ installation into that folder and then patch to the latest Sisi from there.
