IÆve just started so my dev account still has that ænew carÆ smell I like so much, but itÆs time to jump in and with luck not utterly destroy the forums! ôCCP Shadow, tell us a bit about yourself. What makes you tick, bro?ö IÆm glad you asked. IÆm a sci-fi fiend and a pretty serious gamer too, both PC and console, and have been playing EVE for years across a few different playstyles. I donÆt mine, I prefer piracy and solo PvP when opportunity knocksà I prefer lowsec over nullsec, but I spend a fair amount of time in wormhole space as well. I love being invisible in local. Well thatÆs a bit about me, but IÆm really looking forward to getting to know all of you. Give me a scream in this thread if youÆre down! CCP Shadow

Every new CCP Dev has to take the Blood Oath when they join. They put their past lives behind, walk through the EVE Gate (located in a glacier in Iceland) and get to meet Hilmar, the one and only Amarr Emperor. There they get cloned, and it is that clone who returns to Earth. There is no going back. If they ever mention a hint of this to the public, their main, back in New Eden, on the other side of EVE Gate, gets recycled and the Earth-Clone dies a horrible death. That's why!
