Ticket List active!
Lottery Information:
- Tickets cost 10m isk each.
- There are 9,000 tickets available, there is no limit to the amount of tickets one person can purchase.
- To purchase a ticket, send isk to Grendell in multiples of 10m.
- In the reason field when sending isk type "GG005"
- The winning ticket will be drawn once all tickets have been sold.
- All isk sent after ticket goal has been reached will take part in the lottery until the actual draw is done.
- In the event that one of the prizes is no longer available, the prize will be straight isk.
- Ticket Refunds are not available unless lottery is closed.
Ticket Purchase Example:
- One ticket, send 10,000,000 ISK to Grendell with the reason GG005
- Five tickets, send 50,000,000 ISK to Grendell with the reason GG005
- Fifty tickets, send 500,000,000 ISK to Grendell with the reason GG005
- 2x Letter "G", 2x Number" Zero", 1x Number "5"
The BPO will be contracted to the winner in a high security system near Jita.
The winning ticket will be drawn using the EVELottery software written by Niraia, which uses random.org's true random number generator.

How about u select the funniest bump of the day, and that person gets another free ticket ? That will be like 60 tickets in 2 months, so not a big deal, but it will spice up the lotto.

After costs 4b, hardly significant, especially considering that's a 4.5% markup, while most of the other big lotteries have a 10% markup.
But I'm sure you would gladly run a lottery like this for free, I'll be happy to see your non-profit lotto's in the near future.

My first T2 lottery took almost 3 months to sell off, each lottery I've been almost doubling in size, and they always sell eventually. Not to mention each lottery tickets sold a day has been increasing each time, it will sell, I'm not worried.
As stated in the first post, the draw happens when all tickets are sold. I'm going to work hard until that is reached, as refunding this many tickets would be a pain in the butt.
But next few lotteries will be much smaller so they can go quicker until we gather more regular players.

Not to worry Trinity, all ticket list amendments are kept on a seperate list, so when the draw takes place I check each winner to see if they are on the amendment list.
So your change is there and listed, just doesn`t show on the main ticket list.

Thanks to Grendell for organizing another great lottery.
Problem is I don't control the draw, it's done randomly, I know it might seem odd that somebody won 4 prizes, but it was just odds. He held about 22% of the tickets giving him a 1 in 5 chance of winning per prize. If somebody buys 5 tickets and wins with every one of those tickets I can't simply deny them their prize. There wouldn't be much of a point for multiple ticket purchases.
Either way if you have a suggestion for another setup for a lottery, I'd be happy to discuss it with you if you feel it would interest people more then the current setup.
