i know what the problem is see when i had 2942 it dident crash at all well some times but rarly but after i downloaded the 2945 patch it now crashes like every time i click on somthing or somthing btw my system isent crashing but i keep getting CTD's
Caldari will once again rise above the gallente and take back Caldari prime!

I think you're right, with 2942 i could run 2 client, no problems. With 2945, the entire system reboots within 20 minuttes... CCP give me a patch to remove 2945 back to 2942

I think you're right, with 2942 i could run 2 client, no problems. With 2945, the entire system reboots within 20 minuttes... CCP give me a patch to remove 2945 back to 2942

I'm also experiencing this issue. After a very brief, seemingly random interval, after entering the station, the game hangs my machine, forcing a reboot. It does not matter if the game is in full screen or windowed, or minimized, and the optional patch seemed to have no effect.
I'll try updating the BIOS and report if I have any success. I have already updated my geForce to the latest drivers from NVidia.

I reported this problem, i seem to only get in shortly after undocking. Here is the response from CCP, hope it helps and/or actually works, lol.

i have teh same prob.
But i've found the error.
in EVE and EVE only, my cpu increases temp 10 degrees celcius within 3 min and shutsdown the pc.
temp is normaly 60 in hl2, doom3, etc etc, but in eve it gets above 75
Even in window mode...
So i guess i soon quit eve...

Before exodus everything worked excellent. ATI mobility radeon card on laptop and using Omega drivers. Since the second exodus client patch (the one released 2nd of december I believe) the problems started.

Sounds like what happens on my system. But I don't need to reboot. I have checked that "System" in Task Manager get heavy loaded with 99% CPU. But when I succeed to exit EVE client (after waiting for the system to response ;)) everyting gets normal..
P4 2.8GHz, 1GB RAM, Radeon 9800 PRO

The client is crashing to desktop at least twice every 15 minutes. It is restarting my computer every now and then as well, specially during combat.

I had the same problem (reboot, but with blue screen). Try disabling your sound card, it worked for me. Hopefully it'll work for you...
