Actually, that's what I said with 'EFT warrior fit' and the reason I said the Machariel was the most powerful BS - agile and fast as a BC, great range and easily hits 1400 dps using a reasonably priced fitting.
The problem is the OP asking for the 'most powerful BS' in the topics header and for the highest DPS BS in the post, which is obviously not the same under most circumstances.

Is tank important? Alpha? Just DPS? How much would you like to spend?

Actually - a set of medium ECM drones (like everyone and his dog are fielding) will do the trick - that's why nobody flies them in PvP.

I could fly one at all V (except the turret spec skills and obviously not on this character), but even in the rare occasion I do PvE, I'd still prefer the mach, but to each his own...

I once tried to EFT warrior the highest subcap paper-dps possible - ended up with a vindi and 2548 dps.
