I know it's possible to set up eve in windowed mode, then use EveMon to center it. However, I have a dual monitor setup with my secondary monitor above my primary. I keep all of my monitoring tools on this secondary monitor, and most of them are sitting on the bottom of the screen. Therefore when I run Eve in windowed mode, the title bar covers all of my monitoring gizmos.
So my question is; is there a way to run Eve in windowed mode without borders? If there is I assume it would be as simple as a launch option/ shortcut tagging. ~/~ Sultan of Buruni |

Linkage
I use this program. If you go into your "General Settings" on the left hand side at the bottom there is a box you can tick off that says "SHOW WINDOW IDENTIFICATION".
Program is pretty sweet, gives a tab of your multiple clients so you can tab from clients.

Thanks for the reply. Does this edit the client or is a platform for launching the game? I currently launch Eve through Steam, so if it's the former, that's just great. If it's the latter I'm going to have to decide which I prefer. ~/~ Sultan of Buruni |

Edited by: Barakkus on 25/02/2010 03:40:00 It is possible to remove the title bar from a window, I forgot how to do it...I would look at msdn for the appropriate calls to remove a window's title bar (which I beleive is what you're asking for).
I wrote a little piece of code that I put inside another program to replace the task manager's tray icon (because it doesn't work anymore when having the task manager start minimized with windows) that detects when eve is running and repositions it. I was disapointed when you had to go through the extra clicks to make it work with EVEMon.

I wrote that in Delphi, but I took the resizing code out and put it in a different application. If you can find a pascal compiler, and figure out what the calls are to remove a title bar from a window you could recompile it to do what you're looking for.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This FTW.
Just started using it (And w7) last night
associate the save file extension with shift window, then just doubleclick the saved settings file off the desktop
Only thing i wish it had was the option to set a hotkey to minimize a window |

This might work. Or did for me (windows 7 only)
Control panel - Ease of access - Ease of access center - make it easier to focus on tasks - put a hook near the "Prevent windows from being automatically arrangend"
