Andex	Posted - 2004.11.27 12:05:00 - [3] Stabber is a great first cruiser....I've been using one for a year and a half..kinda stuck on it. Stabber's speed is its greatest advantage over all other cruisers..use that to your advantage. Its faster than a Merlin but a MWD still helps to keep distance. For NPCs: Two heavy launchers, two long range med guns (any kind will do), 2 small guns (any kind again) or combo with small smart bombs. Forget the shield booster cause it will give you a false sense of security..then your cap is gone and your dead. Try a small armor repairer (you wont have the grid for a medium). Some cap recharge thingies...the other mods you can experiment with. For fun put on a 100 mn AB with that MWD and fly like an inty (for a short while anyway) and mount small guns and light missles...this can be fun.

With this setup I sit at 20-30km out and just let em chase me. Tracking is minimal cause they're right behind me nearly all the time so I may do away with the sig-nau and try and get the assault launchers in. With both AB's going I do about 510m/s IIRC and unless the rats have their own missiles I don't get hit at all during most encounters. I'll play with close range setups once my skills get a bit higher as I've read that auto cannons do more damage over time.
