My Agent is a moron, how do i fix him?

Joshua Foiritain	Posted - 2004.11.27 13:48:00 - [1] Basicly my list of missions i get looks like this: Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Something else Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Something else Rescue Damsel in Distress Rescue Damsel in Distress Now if the RDD mission was an interesting one then i wouldnt mind to much. However, the RDD mission about as much fun as hauling 30km3 of cargo from Curse to Fountain using a shuttle. Sometimes cancelling a mission fixes your agents crappy behaviour but im not really willing to risk the loss of standing when i doubt it will even fix stuff. Has anyone had the same repeative mission problem and managed to fix it or should i just wait for CCP? --------------------------- [Coreli Corporation Mainframe]

Prothos	Posted - 2004.11.27 15:36:00 - [3] the lvl3 agent i use keeps giving me a mission to haul a car for his mother-in-law. I get that mission over and over then 1 random mission then back to hauling the car again.

It's always been like this and here's what I feel is going on: You have mission A, B and C. For a month the "random" generator only have these 3 mission to chose from so at the end of the month you'll have done nearly the same number of them all. But now mission D is introduced and because it has been chosen far less than any of the first 3 by the "random" generator it'll prioritize it and choose it far more often so at the end of second month all 4 missions have been done the samme number of times. You can ALWAYS be certain that if a new mission is introduced to your agent he'll give to you as the first or second misssion when you contact him again. This theory haven't failed me yet. And so far I've done around 30 Damsel in Distress mission and perhaps 5 of the old ones.
