Was browsing through my assets when I came across the first real ship I got over 2,5 years ago, my old Osprey.
The first ship I actually had was a Bantam, but since I didn't know at the time you could eject from your ship (and it didn't fit in the Osprey) I sold it whereever I got the Osprey.
Went over there to see the fit and was....surprised I ever thought that was a good fitting.
Everything T1, no meta and stuff that doesn't belong on it, though it must have made some sense at the time.
That ship has been gathering dust for most those 2,5 years now...when I think back things were a lot different.
I can distinctly remember going crazy when I realized I needed a whole 3-4 MILLION ISK just to buy an Osprey.
In my Bantam at the time I was amazed at such prices, nowadays I work with hundreds of millions on a daily basis.
In the same station I also kept an equally old Caracal and Badger, with similar anemic fits that must have some weird sense...
I also remember the first time getting podded trying to sell Mex in low-sec for a better price in Otsela.
Shocked at the time that someone would ruin your day like that, but by now I've helped ruin lots of other people's days 
Things seem so different in the first few weeks...
How about you guys, any old ships, weird fits, fights or strange notions when you were in your first few weeks of EVE?

=s most of my main ships got destroyed.
though I do distinctly remember flying a sniper phoon for a long time running through missions in gallente space. I thought it was a great idea at the time as phoon had a range bonus for turrets... looking back I remember a friend in a caracal outperforming my monstrosity lol.
all that's left in that area now is a belliclose a retriever and snowballs from 2005 =s

I'm unfortunately very anal with my assets and get freaked out if I have more than 5 stations with stuff in them. (Yeah, I know  )
But I do remember some of my first fits...they weren't pretty. 2x Standard 2x Rocket civvie AB kestrel with an armor repper anyone? Lost to a wreckbaiter no less.
I did fly a Kestrel some months back, running lvl 1s for the Minmatar (have crappy standings) and it felt very...familiar and nostalgic.

Hehe i know how that is, once in a while, i get tired of seeing stuff all over the place, and get into a cleaning frenzy.
On the ship part, i still own my original Velator... and in a way my very first bs... a Magathron... i used it as a base to build a navythron.

I still have a Breacher loaded with 3 Paradise cruise missles. Those were fun ships when frigs could fire CMs.

I still have a drake from my first 0.0 days in one of the Syndicate pipes. Must be over 2 years old now and amazed it survived so long.

I still have my Helios, my first ever T2 ship. It was the only thing I brought into 0.0 and the only thing I've brought out. Considering the dangerous places I've brought it, it's amazing it hasn't blown up yet.

Same here, I currently got 4 or 5 stations with stuff in them, never any more.

I think my missioning incursus was 3 rail guns on the highs; on the mids I had an AB, small shield booster and target painter; and on the lows I had a plate a cap recharge stuff.

The first ship I remember buying was a condor. Probably it's still stuck somewhere. When I bought Merlin, I thought I've bought a super-ship
My first battleship was a geddon. I was saving for it a long time and the price looked crazy for me. I lost it in such a way that I can't stop laughing when I think about it now. I certainly wasn't laughing when I lost it back then though

Same here... except I'm like 1-2 stations.
I am probably the most anal asset manager in EVE.

I have stuff spread throughout the entire of Empire and some npc 0.0 and even some stuff still in cloud ring and drone space (from before the regions got named so can't remember where atm).
You cleanfreaks would have a nightmare dealing with it I think

Same here, only 4-5 stations max or I go bonkers and jump into my Indy or Freighter.
I also remember in the old days in my original Caracal that I ran my first Lvl 2 mission at the time, after doing a bunch of Lvl 1s.
The fit was probably something horrendous that wouldn't even be feasible in EFT.
The first Lvl 2 mission I got...was Recon 1 of 3, and being a newblet I didn't read the mission stating I only needed to get to the acceleration gate.
My Caracal never losts shield that fast and it warped out in half structure.
At the time I honestly though a fully T2 fit Battleship was needed for a Lvl 2 mission
