Wouldnt it be nice if one could climb aboard other peoples ships? I kind of like the idea of stellar railroads so to speak where you for a fee could hop aboard and traverse "safely" across the galaxy. This would also open up for players to start their own taxi-service if you will. The ships themselves could be either npc-controlled or by players and would ofc be able to be harassed/killed/ransomed etc. if no escort was present. And when i say climb aboard i mean in a pod or possibly even without one. Been thinking about it for a while now hehe.

When I was a noob in rookie channel I asked how I could catch a shuttle to take me to another system because I wanted to leave my ship in the station :( |

I've got my own ships to pilot, why would I bother flying as a passenger on someone else's?

Get in your shuttle then get in my Orca and I will take you where you want. This way you don't have to press autopilot... 500.000 ISK per jump.

This is a great idea. Then we could go mail ordering stuff in Jita and have it delivered in your home station. Ofc we would have to pay a transport fee or we buy stamps at the Concord Postal Services Office . If they would combine this with the shops they have been talking about in the past, it would be a nice gesture to carebearing.

The Interbus idea, although fairly cool, would more then likely make high sec freighter services extinct. One thing I think CCP would want to avoid is narrowing the sand box for something that is easily done with normal pilots. For me, (not that I am worth a grain of sand in the eyes of CCP), to accept this implementation the Interbus option would have to massively increase travel/delivery, time since the pilots are not pod pilots or what not.

As long as it's implemented just before the release of Duke Nukem Forever I'll be happy, though, after wouldn't be too bad either
