Hello
I'm using multiple accounts, well just two to be preciously. I hear that running 2x accounts on the same client can cause problems and lag. I wonder if this is true. My computer is weak, and can just handle running 2x accounts at the same time. If it is true, should I simply copy and paste my current client, so I have 2x. Or should I install the game again from the bottom? Thanks

The problem isn't that you're runnign 2 sessions against the same set of files on disk. Installing another copy isn't going to help.
The problem is that each client, whether pointing to the same exe or different exe's in different install directories, is usning CPU, memory, graphics processor, internet, etc.

I'm running three clients from the same folder. No problems.
The only reason to use separate folders that I know of is if you don't want to use the same settings for all the clients (which I do).
I mostly use window mode. I recommend turning-on the option to label (I.D.) windows. Makes switching between clients easier.
Some people like to use launcher utilities that remove the window frame completely. There are quite a few such utils, but not all of them work with Vista or Windows 7.

You can simply copy the install folder and create a second shortcut that points to that folder, not sure if that would make a great deal of difference on performance though.
What I do to help performance on my laptop when running 2 clients is turn the graphics settings down to low and turn off many of the effects like missiles and such. I run like that for pvp when I run just a single client too.

Nobody round here is offering the second one therefore your choices are limited! |

Ah LHA Tarawa has pointed out, it's system resources which lead to latency and lag.
The most critical part of the system to upgrade is the graphics card - EVE has been described in some places as "hideous models with layer after layer of special effects added to make them look good." It's those extra layers (bump maps, texture maps, reflection maps, missile explosion clouds, laser effects, projectile impacts, etc) which really tax your video card.
Any video card released in the last few hours should be powerful enough to run EVE. Just be ready to upgrade when the next iteration is released in another hour or two and you'll be set ;)
But seriously... I run EVE on an iMac with a Radeon HD 2600 Pro, and it can handle two clients fine.

My graphic card is a Radeon 4870. It should be enough to run 2x clients with graphical settings turned to minimal, but it doesn't. My computer is very clean, and the graphic card updated. I suspect I'm having a physical error in some of my hardware. In any case, thank you all for the assistance.

Rather then copy the entire folder create symbolic links which require no additional disk space. You can then copy the shortcut and just point to the new folder. (Each profile will have its own set of unique settings)
I've watched network IO and eve generates very little (granted, I've never done a fleet op with hundreds of ships so that might be a lot) and there is relatively little disk IO as well. It can take a fair amount of RAM though. I've run 14 clients and the performance has been fine with the shader settings to low and some of the effects disabled but obviously performance will vary. In general it is not a very resource intensive game. Using symbolic links rather then copying the folder might even help since the same files are cached instead of loading multiple copies of each file.
