Hi,
I'm under way to find some Gurista DED complexes. Now I found some in Caldari highsec - all DED 2 and all perfect visible as beacon on the system overview. One resource I used to find them was EVE Explorer
What I don't get:
(1) I visited some of the complexes with rating 4: all of them were hidden - I had to scan them down. Not a problem for me but are low- and null sec complexes hidden in general? So I'd need a probe launcher for everything above rating 2?
(2) The sites I found in low sec weren't really DED complexes. I didn't get that popup with the rating noted. What's wrong? Do I mix up several types of complexes? According to the Exploration guide I was after "DED Complexes" - not "Exploration Complexes".
My evul plan behind: I want to find shiny Gurista complex stuff. Afaik there can be found even in DED-2 complexes. Unfortunately they're farmed a lot so I wanted to get a bit out of the crowded regions.
Thanks for any hint!

All ded complexes above 2/10 are hidden and need to be scanned. When u find something and warp to it, it will give u a message if it's ded rated. If u don't get a message then it's not ded rated, and u don't get deadspace drops, but u might have luck and get a faction spawn (dread guristas) and maybe an expedition.

In my experience with unrated combat plex signatures, the faction spawn and escalation chance is quite high compared to cosmic anomalies. It hasn't happened very often that I didn't get a faction ship or escalation at all.

maybe you just got real lucky coz i did plenty of the unrated ones and pretty much got nothing for them

Ok, thanks.
Still a question: even if the sites above 2/10 are hidden - are they stationary? Or will they just respawn in the same system on another place? It wouldn't make sense else that EVE Explorer shows exact systems for the sites.
Or is EVE Explorer just outdated and the DED Complexes above 2/10 are various spread like for instance wormholes and I just have to travel to find them?!
Side note: if they wouldn't be stationary they wouldn't be farmable that much - a good thing imho!

The lower-tier high-sec ones have a pretty poor escalation chance. If you find a "Vigil" or a "watch", they seem to escalate fairly reliably.

No, they are not stationary - once the overseer is killed, they will respawn elsewhere.
I believe, though am not 100% certain, that the respawn locations are restricted by region, so you should be able to find it somewhere else in your region. I'm not sure if it respawns immediately, or if it takes a downtime before it happens.

From the testing I've done, I'm fairly certain it's in a multi-region area that it will respawn, like a 3/10 DED Serpentis site will respawn in any Gallente highsec system. Ie, if a site is able to be found in a system, it's a valid target for it to spawn there.
I've had mixed reports on how quick they respawn, but they definitely don't wait until downtime. This is just hearsay, but I think some sites respawn almost immediately, while others can take up to an hour before they respawn. It's not something you can easily test without having a whole army of people on Sisi covering multiple regions with probes. ---

I've had escalations into different regions as well so respawning in a different region might not be unheard of.
