I have 1 comment and that is lets say a stain corp wants a pos and is looking to hire some empire corp to mine and haul the ice out to the station they will most likely have to go through catch region (unless they want to do double or tripple the distance and go around and that route wont nessarely be safe either) and anyone who has spent a short ammount of time in and around the region will know that there are ALWAYS, ALWAYS someone in that region looking to pvp. no matter what time of the day it is and indys are a target noone lets get by them verry easily. I have brought supplies up to where I do my activites in stain 3 times in a hauler and out of the 3 times I've been attacked 2 times and lost my indy 1 of those times. (was uber lucky the second time) it is rediclously dangerous to move indys through there with out a escort of atleast 1-2 bs and 1-2 crusers.frigs/interceptors etc. maybe more depending on the time of the day.
So what empire corp is really willing to haul supplies through there for another corp? when 1) if the indy is destroyed it means 100% loss to the empire corp (the 0.0 corp wont pay for lost goods in transit) not to mention the player may verry well be podded or the escorts ships destroyed and podded maening possable losses of implants and also they have to refit the ship and buy insurance. 2) they have to have players spending time escorting the indy (if they don't want to lose the ship) when they could be mining or doing something else. 3) If the high grade ice so abundant in empire it meants it wont cost huge ammounts (atleast comparedto rare ores) because tonns of ppl will be mining it thus = less profit to the empire corp for hauling the ice. So the contracts would be really expensive if a corp was acually wanting to hire another corp. So then it just become more econimical to haul it your self meaning you now waisting your time doing something boring and isn't the point of this game to have fun?
So I say make the requirements less or possably has mid and/or high grade ice in 0.0 but make it less abundant in size of ice field and make the field seim scarse meaning the 0.0 ppl arn't 100% dependent of empire but still need them due to high end ice not abundantly avalable. -----------------------------------------------
