Ok I'll come right out and ask it.
Why in THEE hell would anyone pay the outrageous price atm for a cyclone when a rupture has near the exact same stats excpet the bonuses are far better than a cyclone.
I mean come on now 5% shield boosting/lvl(hoo F'ing rah!) and 5% firing speed/lvl.
or would you rather have the 5% damage mod and 5% firingspeed that comes with the rupture.
I think this is a step backwards.
Lemme know if I'm just totally missing the advantage this ship is supposed to have over a normal cruiser.

Chee you say the damage bonus is easily negated by fitting large artillery, I disagree wholeheartedly on that, I fit 3 720mms on my rupture and 3 hvy launchers so you are only carrying 2 more guns than me. I actually have refitted and am now carrying 4 720mm and 2 hvy launchers.
so my point is this that the rupture can carry large artillery also.
and to the 1st post are you sure that the cyclone has 1250 MORE shield hp or just has 1250 shield hp?

Your 720mm Prototype I Siege Cannon perfectly strikes Angel Liquidator, wrecking for 461.8 damage and thats not even equipped on a rupture :)

well thanks for all the feedback.
I think a few of you are a lil too passionate about telling me off about my question but thats ok. I get the same way sometimes.
I'm still going to try it out want to try all the minmatar ships just dont think it justifies the price tags I have been seeing lately when I can do everything I need to in a ship that costs 5 times less. 30-70 million for that ship is outrageous when you only get 24 and change back at 100% insurance. hell I can buy battleships for cheaper than some of these prices.

so the next question is is there even a need for regualr cruisers anymore? I mean what get a BC and fly that til you can get into a T2 cruiser.
