It's just a very buggy game tbh, in fact I would say that this is the buggiest game that I have ever played. CCP ought to be doing a lot more testing than they are, and using code profilers to cut down on the bugs. I get lots of exceptions each time i go through a jump gate, and get lots of errors like this in my log:
File created 2004.12.18 17:20:13 An exception has occurred. It has been logged in the log server as exception #27 An exception has occurred. Edited by: MaximvS on 19/12/2004 14:15:45 Well it's nigh on unplayable for me at the moment. I don't get any server disconnected message, I just get unceromniously dumped back at the desktop. It only started happening since the last patch. It is definately not my connection as I have been monitoring it, it's runtime exceptions within the game. I've even un-installed EVE and done a clean re-install just to make sure I didn't have a corrupt file somewhere.
It might be an idea for others experiencing this problem to log an official bug report, or check your EVE log directory and paste the contents of some of the error logs at the end of your post.
I also get lots of these:
165 : triui.UIWindow: Window dot (0A112E78) destructor called before being Closed 164 : triui.UIWindow: Window shadow (0A123058) destructor called before being Closed
166 : triui.UIWindow: Window simplepic (0A2E2900) destructor called before being Closed ----------------------------------------------------- Member of STK Scientific [STK-S]. Come see us at http://www.stkscientific.com |

I've submitted a bug report and also filed a petition. Everyone should do one of these to raise the profile of such a major bug. There's also quite a few similar threads on here, but as yet I've seen no dev replies... ----------------------------------------------------- Member of STK Scientific [STK-S]. Yes loads of stuff like that. When I submitted a bug report they tried to fob me off with 'It's a problem with your sound card drivers. Try disabling sound...'. It does annoy me that they're still spending time introducing new stuff without taking the time to fix what they have already. ----------------------------------------------------- Member of STK Scientific [STK-S].
