The title says it all. After just read the thread regarding some supposedly-ultra-secret organization called Umbrella Corporation... err... I mean Group, I found it quite hilarious that someone would offer hundreds of isk for someone else to go hunt down, kill off, and then bring their dead corpse to someone who was too lazy to do it himself.
I mean, how could you even be sure that the person you're paying is not some alt created by the very person you placed the bounty on? Anyone with a right mind who has a bounty on them can easily create an alt, pretend that they're offering up their service to hunt down said bounty (basically hunting themselves), self-destruct the bounty in the middle of nowheresville (making sure they updated their clone), can the corpse, send it to the person who offered money, the alt gets paid and then transfer the prize to the character who had the bounty on him.
Basically, people offering such rewards to someone for stupid things like a corpse run the risk of getting ripped off by the very person who either griefed or ganked them in the first place.
I would personally just go out with a gang, hunt the bounty ourselves, and then claim whatever bounty was previously put on his head.

Buying corpses is a fun and entertaining diversion for some folks.
For example..there are people who form strong attachment to their former bio-hosts...and who would hate to see it..um..how to put it delicately..
Would hate to see their former bio-hosts used as foreign DNA receptacles. Or dart-boards... Or..you get the idea. Just think of the creative treatment you can give one of these meat-sickles.
Some folks consider corpses as trophies. Corpses of Joe Phoenix were popular at one point fetching as much as 250 Million Isk. Not because he was particularily good.. but because he was loathed (and still is, but that's for another thread)
And frankly, if someone wants to spend a bunch of isk for a corpse...what business is it of yours? Why should you care? Is your corpse in the hands of a loathsome individual? Are you trying to discourage the honorable trade in well preserved corpses for another nefarious reason?
There are dumb people in game all over...doing innumerable dumb things. The trafficking in corpses is not necessarily one of them. (Especially methuselah corpses...it gets really expensive to update your clone after a while, not to mention the glorious implants some folks usually wander around with)
Now, offering on C&P isk for a corpse, that is not necessarily the smartest thing to do. But buying said meat-sickles...not that bad an idea.

Personally I am hoping that CCP introduce the ability to freeze corpses in Carbonite with Incarna. It would be a nice touch to have a trophy room
