I was getting connection problems last night from around 10pm onwards. Then around midnight my whole connection died. It wasn't up when I left my house either, Just hope it will be working by the time I get home. I'm not on NTL but Nildram, no idea if the two are linked. Just thought i'd mention it anyway.

Someone further up in the thread mentioned problems with Nildram as well, but I'm unsure if there's any relation between Nildram and NTL.

I'm using ntl broadband in Essex, UK and it pretty much works great. Have you tried the optional click patch? Might help.. Grey things don't exist |

300k - 1mb 4 Gig monthly cap 750k - 2mb 30 gig monthly cap 1.5mb - 3mb 50gig monthly cap
No extra costs, except for a ú25 charge for upgrading this helps spread the cost for people who need to update from a PACE box to a Samsung box. The pace can only handle 1.5 mb
Yeah I heard about that .. can't wait. I'll be going from 750k to 2Mb at no extra monthly cost. I'll be like a kid in a candy store ;) Grey things don't exist |

Yup, same here. NTL in North East London. I can get in ok, except it takes a couple of attempts, but every now and again I get booted off with a server not found" message.
Any info/ link someone could post about that upgrade someone said would be nice as well thanks. -----------------------------

Using Ping Plotter I've found that the first two 'hops' on any route are either:
(a) 80.0.54.21 leed-t2cam1-a-ge98.inet.ntl.com 80.0.241.43 leed-t2core-a-ge-wan61.inet.ntl.com
OR
(b) 80.0.55.21 leed-t2cam1-b-ge98.inet.ntl.com 80.0.241.169 leed-t2core-b-ge-wan64.inet.ntl.com
Websites or game servers accessed via route (a) either lag out horribly or time out - the Eve game server is accessed via this route...
I've mailed NTL about it and await their response.
As I type this, it seems that the path to the game server has suddenly switched to route (b) and seems to be working. Coincidence?

Cardiff NTL is also ok..
Going to 2mb is ok (not heard about it though), but a monthly Cap NO WAY, I don't want my download capped at all! I will have to cancel ntl and get sky or some crap like that and a BT line for adsl.
Take comfort in knowing that its probably some pimply faced twit, or 40 year old virgin, who gleens everytime mommy offfers to take them to needle point lessons |

Seems to be working ok here now too. Rather conclusive that its started working again around the same time for at least 2 of us, though im not in the know enough on the subject to figure out what is going on hehe. Manged to get on around 5pm, and have managed to stay on since. Fingers crossed the problem doesn't pop up again anytime soon:)

I have been getting this for the last couple of days and im not on NTL. Game just seems to freeze and then disco. Its getting to the point where i log back in only to be kicked straight back off again. As it stands at the moment i cannot play :(
This is, to say the least, most frustrating...
